Hi,
does anybody have a clue how I can get a copy of the book to Maries new exhibition?

Ok,
1) doesn´t work
2) don´t know someone who lives in Sthlm
3) I can´t find it on ebay

ad 3. There were at least two Marie’s books on ebay yesterday - that means that someone has bought them.

The books in Ebay were 75 dollars for the book, plus 42 for shipping. That’s hardly a ’bargain’, eh?

They are still popping up on eBay and the guy selling them has sold 15 since 8th February! They are not on there long till someone snaps them up!
Personally I think the cost of the book and postage and for me it’s worked out at around £57 is a good price for something that it a limted edition!

I am sure there are other ways to get it, as someone point out above. That seller is making a lot of (abusive) profit with these books, because the original price is not that expensive. If I were you, I’d avoid buying from him.

I somehow doubt he is ripping people off… yes he might be making a profit from selling these but he’s also providing a service to people who want it and the 17 (at the last count) people who had bought one are obviously pleased to do so… he’s not forced people into buying the book!
… besides some look upon this as an investment since the book will increase in value with there only being 300 copies in circulation!

I bought mine off ebay as well. Sure, I have probably been ripped off, but it is worth every penny. I was never able to get hold of the first book (which pains me as a massive marie fan), so there is no way I’m missing out on this one!

I knew it was you Neil, I thought when I saw the user name in the UK it was too much of a concidence not to be!

Yay! My boyfriend popped down to the gallery today and bought 2 copies of the book for 295sek (around £22) - one each for myself and a friend. He’s just looked at the books and one has been signed inside, with a little picture of a heart lol

Does anyone have the pictures of Marie from the book somewhere to download? NOT her paintings, just photos of her? Just asking....
tomos85 said on February 26, 2008 11:48:
I’ve seen all those photos, but they were taken by camera so quality wasn’t perfect, but still - it’s nice to watch them ;)
icerox said on February 26, 2008 15:02:
I’ll make a little video of it... and I’ve taken some photos. The book is indeed very nice, I only wish I’d got the first one. It’s the best £57 I’ve spent! :)
icerox said on February 26, 2008 18:20:
Well I made the video and I need to upload it to YT, I will in a day or two this I know I don’t have time now or tomorrow... actually maybe it will be possible tomorrow to do it.

There are three answers to your problem:
1) You can go to this gallery and buy it yourself.
2) You can ask someone who lives in Sweden to purchase this catalogue for you
3) You can buy it on ebay...
