For some unknown reason, her song “Surrender” was a big radio single here in Canada. It’s by far one of the worst songs of all time - it still comes on the radio from time to time, and I cringe every time I hear it.

She was very succesfull here , she had some great songs and her voice is fantastic, haha even one of her songs “emergencia de amor” the intro is very similar to Marie’s Silver i din hand ...weird

She used to be quite popular here in Finland. Her English record flopped, however, and haven’t really heard from her since. Her English songs were quite popular on some of the radio stations in Finland, though.
I saw her live once in Espoo, a city next to Helsinki. It was nice, nothing spetacular.

Italian music is extremely melodic and beautiful.
I heard some of her songs and they are good
I love Raf and Umberto Tozzi as well, artists from 80’s who still sing today.

She was also very popular in Argentina with her first albums in spanish,
“Amores Extraños” was her most popular hit, spent months in the peak of the charts. But unfortunately she hasn’t got enough airplay, her record company don’t promote her anymore here. The english album was not released here ( I think only her albums in spanish were released here) but I didn’t like the song Surrender anyway but the video I must admit was really good.

In Mexico was very popular. She also sang “Viveme” for a soap opera. I also like Eros Ramazotti.
