Thank you Roxette

When I was in high school I really liked Roxette. Here comes the weekend was my favorite song. June afternoon, How do you do?, Joyride, Dangerous, ooooh those times!
I got to know Roxette for one pirated cassette that had part Look Sharp and part Joyride. I ended up saving to buy those and other cassettes, but then came the CD. But that was in the cassette era. Both media and players where too expensive for me.
For years I stopped buying any music.
Now here I am taking time and money to get on track and the first thing I know is about Marie’s illness. I wish you the best!
I prefer to listen to music as MP3 in my cellphone, but having the CD is a must (for Roxette only).
Now tanks to the Internet I have been catching up with where and what to buy first. I have been able to see videos and hear not only Roxette songs, but Per and Marie songs also.
I really liked One Wish, Opportunity Nox, Real Sugar, Stars, shopping with mother. My youth is coming back, and it is better this time!
My kids really liked Real Sugar video. I really didn’t like June Afternoon video, and my wife loved Per in “I wanna be with you”
Thanks Roxette, you are still #1 and will always be.

ahhh the suitcase song!
Tourism...that was good times for sure! I was away at my god-parents on vacation when that CD came out and they didn’t even get it at their little store in town.
The first thing I did when I got home was rush from the bus station to the music store and pick up Tourism.
I remember how much I loved the songs and the acoustic sound on that album, but how I was taken aback by the change in Marie’s voice.
Still one of my favourite albums (and I am used to Marie’s voice changing all the time now!)

It’s amazing how some fans always try to find a reason to bury Roxette. What has “Roxette is dead” to do with beatifull topic like “Thank you Roxette”? Well I have many reasons to be grateful to Per and Marie. They helped me so much on so many occasions in my life, still do. And for this reason Rox will always be alive for me. And after Marie miracle I tend to believe Roxette is really invincible!!!
2 ket-ket: Happy birthday!!!

For the love of God!!!! Can’t you folks with the bad, negative attitutes start your own threads and leave the positive ones alone!!! Hell, what the f*ck is wrong with you.
This thread is SO positive and SO happy - why do you have to come in here and f*ck it up??? Huh? Go someplace els, I BEG you!
Well, I for one will always believe that there are still good things to come from the Roxette-camp. I will never hate them, I will always believe in Per and Marie and believe that we’ll get something new sometime....
Roxette #1 always!!!!!!!!!!!
