I have that record, and yes, she is holding a cigarette in her hand. Totally unfortunate. I was a bit disappointed when I first noticed that. But that’s the 80s for you I guess. I still love the cover otherwise. Another interesting point: Swedish group A*Teens (originally ABBA*Teens) first single, Mamma Mia (1999), is designed exactly the same. The front shows them sitting in the limo just like Marie and Per, and the back shows the limo seats empty.
