Yeah, Christmas is come up again. It would be a nice treat.
I really enjoyed having a demo per week until Christmas. It was a great feeling and time.
Take care!

Don’t think this will happen every year. But this year he could treat us with the Roxette demos from the book!
RobS said on September 21, 2007 08:34:
Without a release on the cards i can’t see why he would bother. Apart from keeping the fans happy.
It would be nice if something like this is done, but i can’t see anything happening.

i think it would be better an album with unreleased songs, unknown songs under roxettes name.
I would like “always the last to know” to be released by roxette, it could be a great ballad, its a great song.when my friends and family heard this song they told me that its one of the roxettes more beautiful songsn, thus i answered that its a unrealeaded song or a maries song, i wish it could be a new roxette quaint power ballad, but i think its a dream.

I have a version of this song, but not sure where or how I got it! lol The version I’ve got is a slow song, an English version of Marie’s duet with Patrik? Or am I getting confused with something else? Is there another version of this song as well recorded by Rox?

@Sascha: Who knows. Since the book will be released only in Sweden, Per might do with these demos, the same thing he did with the Christmas demos last year after all the complaining about the lack of rare tracks on the RoxBox. Especially that the book will have already been release for about a month or so.
@others: The version i have is most likely the demo from Marie. Not sure about the Roxette version, though.
Take care!

I think by “Roxette version” they actually meant Marie’s demo.
tevensso (moderator) said on September 21, 2007 17:54:
The Roxette version is not Marie’s version. Roxette’s version has totally different music.
pwbbounce (moderator) said on September 22, 2007 07:49:
Now I’m intrigued!!! Wish I could get my hands on this song!!!!! I love Marie’s version of it!

Tevensso, you know that makes the rest of us jealous :)
Mary said on September 22, 2007 14:43:
I think we already have both versions.
Marie’s Version =Swedish version Det Som Var Nu, duet with Patrik Isaksson
Roxette version =English version Always The Last To Know, unreleased demo sung by Marie
Roxrider_USA said on September 23, 2007 06:16:
Didn’t Tev just say above that the Marie demo version (the one sung by Mairie) is not the Roxette version?
So i guess then, that they are different as stated above by him.
Take care!

Wow! Thanks Thomas for this excerpt! This is totally new to me.
RobS said on September 23, 2007 10:05:
Wow!! feels nice hearing something new like that, even if it is only 25 secs of it.
Maybe we might get to hear the full song at some stage, through BadHairDay or otherwise.

a fresh sounding Roxette song! Awesome :D
Album: Have A Nice Demo 1
Hinting at anything or just being humorous Tev?
abysmo said on September 23, 2007 12:24:
@RobS: The same feelings, so rare and so exciting to hear something new and fresh from Roxette. Reminds me those forgotten great times of first listening of new snippets of Wish I Could Fly, The Center Of The Heart, A Thing About You, Opportunity Nox, or One Wish. Miss this feelings so much.
Thanks Thomas.
Do you know in which year was this song recorded or for which album?

No no hints. Just wanted to show it. Who knows what will happen. As far as I know it was recorded around 1997 so possibly for Have a Nice Day.
abysmo said on September 23, 2007 14:18:
Thanks for the info. So this track is only demo?

Wow, it sounds so nice!! And it’s a demo!
Thanks a lot Tev. I appreciate it.
These demos we have been listening to over the last few years really make me wonder about all the other nice and exciting ones that we still have no idea about.
What a nice feeling!
Take care!

Mmm, doesn’t sound like the “Always The Last To Know” we already had. I don’t like it, it’s too slow and tired... I think Marie did a wonderful job when she recorded it in Swedish! :-D
Roxrider_USA said on September 23, 2007 22:57:
There are two english demo versions. One of them is the one Tev gave us above and the other one is the Marie demo.
Take care!

Wow, that is radically different - it it weren’t for the lyrics, I would never have connected the two songs!
Thanks for sharing. Per has been so generous with his demos - I’ve never heard a single demo from some of my favourite bands, like Garbage and Texas. It’s like they want to hide the process - I think it’s quite brave of Per to lay it out there for all to hear. And for free a lot of times, no less!

Who knows... All about Roxette stuff is going to slow... But i know about Per and Maries surprises...never disapointing
