how long for deliveries from Rox Fanclub?

I just want to find out from others who have bought stuff from the fanclub, how long it usually takes to get your order??

I live in australia so it might take a while longer - and i can’t wait forever!!

thanks

It’s been a while since I last ordered something from the fanclub but whenever I wanted something in the past, it took about two or three weeks to arrive here. Germany btw.

Here we go again.....
Write te fanclub if you have a problem! Mail to: [email protected]
Rox-on D-san
http://muziek.clubs.nl/roxette

It takes 8-10 months ...
Maybe more, maybe less

I agree with D-san here, if there’s something on your mind about the fanclub please don’t start to complain here!
Contact the fanclub directly!!!!
These are the adresses: [email protected] or [email protected]

...uh, just in case somebody misunderstood me... I didn’t want to complain bout the fanclub! I’ve always been satisfied with the things they sent me and I really don’t think two/three weeks are too long!!

mmhhh... i ordered something 2 weeks before x-mas (germany). and i’m still waiting. thats much too long, but i’m happy to get rare things somewhere. the fanclub should inform everybody ordering about that!

...and I guess Sarah is right. we should not start such a discussion again... we’ve had that too often.

Sorry if i didn’t make myself clear, but i wasn’t complaining. I was just curious to know how long it takes for an order to arrive - i know they say 6-8 weeks. i was hoping most people would say it’s alot shorter time.

no bad word about it before even though I’ve experienced delivery terms of over 8 weeks more than once last year, but mails like these really piss me off! Was only wondering if there were more peops who are now screwed with the advise to buy the regular stuff that one already has or wait for ’Some very interesting items such as The Pop Hits album with EP and the Opportunity Nox maxi single!’, while having pre-ordered these already from Sweden... by the way... got the message just today after having ordered already in November 2002.

Dear Rox fan, Some time ago you ordered the Raspberry Red Fleece Blanket in the shop. We are very sorry to tell you that this item is out of stock, so we can’t send you this. The money you paid for this item is credited on your shop account, so you can use it for future orders. Some very interesting items are coming up, such as The Pop Hits album with EP and the Opportunity Nox maxi single! Sorry for the inconvenience!

hmmm the address [email protected] is new for me.
I mail if I have problems ever to [email protected] or [email protected] ???
We have 3 addresses now :-) you can make your decide now *g*

did mail the fc and got the following reply after asking how the sentence ’out of stock’ was meant to be understood...

’out of stock’ as in: 105 items were ordered but we were only able to get hold of a hundred. The exact quantity is unknown but that how it somehow ended up to be. You have a credit of XX EURO in the Fanshop according to our calculations, but the shop prices are not available right now. You could have known how the fanshop is being run? A few people who sent out some packages in the weekends and who are completely depending on EMI, not always a nice business partner so to speak. We can’t do anything about it, just like with the wrong ’Ballad Hits’ albums (comments: What’s that about???????). That resulted in another 12 fans being extremely pissed off.

So, as usual blaming EMI...

ballads episode = ordering ballads (2 cds) and receiveing ballads (1cd) and going back to EMI to ask what happened and then being invormed that 2 cd is no longer available and has been replace by ( 1 cd) and in the meanwhile its been on the site for 2 weeks long that the (2 cd) is still available and you have sold them to fans !

that is what they are working with, and there is nothing you can do about it at time but apologise and do the best to make it right .

Have seen how the FC’s usual stock was 2 years ago... can only wonder why that keep advertising stuff that they don’t have in stock or are not sure about whether they will get a certain quantity...

jesus hebt je nou mijn antwoord lezen ? ik leegte net uit dat hun geen beright krijgen van EMI wanneer dinge veranderen

english * did you not read my reply? i just told you that they dont get information from emi when a product changes, only when one is delated “

Hello! Well I think the fanclub is nice, but I wanna say, for how much they charge (with the shipping out of Europe) and how long you have to wait (many weeks!) I do not think it is worth it to buy items like “A Thing About You” or the “Ballad Hits” because I bought them from other sites (the Ballad Hits from a UK site and ATAY from TowerRecords.com) and they didn’t take long to get here ;).

I understand their situation though. It is only a few people doing the Fan shop.

@roxcyn: do understand the situation quite well myself, only not when they’re offering items that are ’MADE UPON ORDER’.

Has anyone recieved the red blanket yet??

as we have been telling in our mails the red blanket is HUGE and special packing material is needed to ship it :/

Chantie is working on that, sorry for the delay!

Well, my mail says I won’t get one.

Does anyone now if it was EMI Sweden they got the blankets from? Or EMI Holland?

A shame they dare to sell stuff that way... cancelling without notice and keeping money for *shit*... good shops would at least offer a GOOD alternative!

Isn‘t it possible to get the money back?

no, you get a credit for a future order

You can mail to all those adresses instead of pissing on them here.

I didn’t recieve mine yet either, nor have I recieved any mails about it... hmm must’ve accidentally deleted it... doesn’t matter. I can wait.. hehe.

I’m still waiting for the Tourbook....

You can mail them there instead of pissing on them here.

Last one I think it took... 6 months :D

Japeke is right.
The ppl who takes care of the fanshop don’t visit this forum so much, most of the times it’s me pointing them here, and since they don’t know in many cases who you are (cuz of the nicks, cuz your email is hidden, whatever) and most of the times the answer here is the same: mail [email protected] about it...with your name, customer ID, ...

you can keep on complaining, but if you want an answer, this is not the right place :P

@JAPEKE: tried to e-mail other peops than chantal in the past and have never recieved anything but an automated reply before, except when mailing her and this time even she onyl could say something like ’WE’RE DEPENDING ON EMI’... too much it seems. Maybe that’s the whole problem of the club.

@JAPEKE: tried to e-mail other peops than chantal in the past and have never recieved anything but an automated reply before, except when mailing her and this time even she onyl could say something like ’WE’RE DEPENDING ON EMI’... too much it seems. Maybe that’s the whole problem of the club, as the ones in contact with the record company and such seems to be not her.

But it‘s always interesting to know how many people have problems with the fanshop. So we can decide if we will order anything from them again. I will not, maybe others will.
Is it really not possible to get money back? Can‘t really believe that...

When somebody purchases an item at an online shop - in general -, automatically accepts the shop’s policies....they are there to be read :P

Taken from the Fanshop policies:

“Backorders (out of stock items)
Backordered articles includes items that are not currently in stock. In most cases, these items are on order from our vendors. In some cases, we are awaiting or researching stock information from one or more of our suppliers. When we receive the product, we will ship it to you promptly and you will be notified by e-mail. If for any reason we determine that a backordered item will no longer be available at all, we notify you immediately by email, raise your credit at our Fanshop with the amount of the deleted item.”

>>> “Raise your credit at our Fanshop with the amount of the deleted item”

same applies when you want to return an item:

“How do I return an item?
We guarantee your satisfaction with all our items. You may return any item within 30 days of delivery for a full credit of the purchase price (minus shipping and handling charges). The amount can be used for future orders. The Official Roxette Fanclub is not responsible for lost returns.”

So that’s why you get credit instead of getting the money back.

PS: The special boxes for the HUGE blankets are supposed to arrive today, so I am sure Chantie will pack them and send them as soon as possible - she has taken days off from work in the past, and she may do this again :P

@judith... simple reason for me posting this here is actually about getting money or not... people should however know how the fanclub is screwing up even with such limited stuff that was ought to be ’produced for pre-orders only’ By the way, was thinking about it the re-new my membership as I thought things were getting better before new doubts were created by this 4th incident within the last 3 orders... always kept being positive as things were solved in the end, but this was the final drop that changed my attitude a bit.

@Marcusvandeursen: That doesn’t mean you can piss on them in a public place like this!!!! You live in the netherlands, you can mail them, search their phone number if the answer isn’t good enough, and their are a lot more other ways....
please, solve your problem with them, but not here in Smalltalk!
And by the way, i never head big troubles with the FC.... oke, ronald sometimes doesn’t answer, or he answers very short, but they are ALL very busy.

That we only took pre-orders for it, doesn’t mean that it was ’made only for or pre-orders’. It;s not true, it was EMI merchandise, meaning things they especially made for promotion. As an exeption they allow us to sell it, but they need to know fromt he start how many we want. That’s the reason why it’s a pre-order, we have to know how many people are going to buy it from us. So we told them (EMI international in this case) that we needed 105 blankets, but they sent us only 100 and told us they can’t get the other 5 for us. So we mailed the last 5 people that placed the order that they would get a credit at the fanshop (for the same amount). That’s the story. Yes, it’s really sad for those 5 people. We don’t like it either! But we can not change the fact that there are no blankets anymore!

@Iris: thanx for the little explanation... will keep it in mind. Just became a bit too pissed perhaps... after 3 ’forgotten’ packages within only ’2’ previous’ orders ...always being told ’het is per ongeluk ergens onder een hele grote stapel beland’ and then several untrue shipment confirmations.

have become even more curious after receiving the following mail on 10 feb...
