Has anyone else seen the video for first single ’Dark road’ ? what you think?
I like and deslike the video. im not sure i understand it. Not sure why she has a flag of the US waving around ? im gonna go with to sell more records bad of me i know. Unless it is to challage what we think the term ’hero’ means !
Song wise, her voice is just so great and perfect as always.
Anyone heard any of the other songs off the new album ? i got a stream for a song called ’Through The Glass Darkly’ but only got half way before it got pulled, Sounded great though. Having a new producer on this album may be a great thing.

Its odd , which doesnt mean bad, But starts out annie sat on a bed singing. Then a American flag starts waving ! then it cuts 2 black and white film of people in one half the screen with the American flag other side ! The annie is sat in an US taxi wearing a wonder women outfit ( which i thought was kind of cool lol Very ’waiting in vain’ video) then back to B&W people with the US flag. and follows the pattern again.
More i think about it i think it challanges ideas of heros and reality ! i bet im well of the mark if i ever hear what it is mean to be seen as lol. ( personally, i think it should have had different flags and cultures shown, but if only i was the director lol)

Yeah, I agree. When I first saw the video I was like WTF??? Honestly, I hadn´t realized it was a wonder woman outfit until I read a review yesterday. The song is simply amazing.
I know the album will inlclude a song called “sing” where annie sings with 25 world famous singers including madonna, celine dion, pink, etc. Sadly, marie was not invited :(

When i first read about 25 female singers will be on the next annie lennox album i thought ow must be a duets album which would be cool. All on one song though tight squeeze hehe.

Last night BBC Radio 2 aired a complete version of the concert Annie Lennox performed live with the BBC Concert Orchestra at the Mermaid Theatre in London on August 15, 2007. She did 3 of her new songs!
This is a fantastic show! The orchestration is fabuolus!
