I haven’t seen a lyric posted anywhere, even a quick google didn’t show anything, so here’s the lyrics that i could workout from listening to it. I’m sure that there’s a few mistakes in there, but the copy i’ve got isn’t the best quality.

NEW WORLD
marie fredriksson

yeah yeah yeah

the sun is out, the stars are bright, oh so lets hang out its a beautiful night.
lets go the park thats nice and green, before its getting dark, you’re the best i’ve ever seen.
the clouds are slowly going, our love is slowly growing into a new, new world.

oh baby you’re my new world.
its a new world.
oh your my new world.
oh baby you’re my new world.

now i’m sure its not like before, i want everything you, all i want is you.
the night is late, i just can’t wait, oh please follow me you’re the best i’ve ever seen.
the clouds are slowly going, our love is slowly growing into a new, new world.

oh baby your my new world
its a new world
your my new world
oh baby you’re my new world

you’re my new world
baby, baby it’s a new world
you’re my new world
oh baby you’re my new world

your my new world
baby baby it’s a new world
you’re my new world
oh baby you’re my new world

yeah yeah yeah

“Now I’m sure it’s not like before, I want everything new, all I want is you.” - I believe it’s “new”(?)... ;-)

everytime i listeb to this song it really reminds me of june afternoon for some reason

Yeah it does have a slight June Afternoon vibe to it, with a Marie spin on it. The talk of parks probably is a big thing as well hehe.

That’s what i always thought as well, but after having a few good listens i think “you” is right. It also makes more sense in the context of that sentence as well.

Has a sunny vibe to the song, abit 60’s aswell.
