EHM = 3 Platinum!

8 replies

According to EMI En Händig Man has been shiped in 120000 ex, which means 3 platina awards! http://www.emi.se/iuware.aspx?pageid=465

wau, very good work Per. How sold Mazarin?

Cheers
Christian

Is that a big success? Yes how did MAZARIN sold?

Mazarin reached 2 platina (which is 3 platina now) in the beginning of august.

EHM has the same number as F5F.

But this numbers are not how many copies that are sold, it means that they are shipped from EMI.

As a comparation I could mention that only 12 of 60 albums at the toplist this week has got an award at all, and none has reached more then 1 platina, so 3 platina at the first day has to be good. And a lot of those albums has been out for a while.

Go, Gessle, go!!!
Btw, on bestselling albumlist on CDON #1 is En Händig Man (2CD) and #2 is En Händig Man.

The moon is alright

Thank goodness it didn’t debut on the Top 60 this week on the strength of Monday and Tuesday’s downloads... if it had, a certain somebody here would be crying “Big flop!” (even though next week it will be #1, and be about 100 000 copies ahead of the #2 album...).

indeed, these are the number of copies EMI has shipped to different stores.. how else would they be able to count them? :D

Haha. Good one! Though I wasn’t aware of the true release date of the single and seeing it debut at 59, and having heard of no big promotion events, judged it being a very minor success. Luckily I was wrong.

And yes, the album will debut at #1! Hopefully, anyway! :-)

I can asure you of that they are really promoting the album. Per is everywhere. In the foodstores, in the CD stores, in the magazines, on radio, on TV. Åhléns had an ad on the first page of Metro (one of Swedens biggest papers) about the signing session.

But the promotion was not that big before the album was released.
