Hello Per an Marie,
please give us so many fans information how the future from roxette will be. Is there a chance for a comeback?
We miss your music so much. Lots of time I spend time to make party of your great music. My special songs from you are “Fingertips‘93”; “Almost unreal” and “Love is all”. This song was sung when I married last year my wife. It was so a great feeling.

Although my love for Roxette is not that fanatic anymore I’d like to here something new from them. But songs like “Fireworks” or “Keep me waiting”. Good old Roxette music of which they had been successful.
In my opionen “C!B!B!” was best album they made in my “roxette-fan-carrere” :-)
I’d love to hear songs again like “Love is all”, which has been sang at our wedding last year. It was our wish to here this song and the singer, who did that, was amazing. Ok, not that good as Marie, but she gave everything. It was amazing. Also my sister, who could not find anything for Roxette (she is too young), had tears in here eyes. After the wedding many people of our wedding listened to the song. That’s publicity :-)
Per, Marie... please give us a “roxy” sign...

All the begging in the world isn’t going to make your wish come true. They will only record another album if BOTH of them want to, and then they’ll only promote it if BOTH of them want to. None of us on this forum can truly know what it’s like to record an album for a year, travel and promote and sing the same song over and over again. They are getting older, and they probably feel they don’t want to do it anymore. I don’t think it’s got anything to do with Marie’s illness directly anymore, just her new frame of mind since the illness, something which we should totally respect really. Most of the fans on here do respect it, but you still have the odd few which don’t.
Be grateful that Marie is still around and that we’ve had 2 Marie albums and two brand new Rox tracks since, and we are about to hear Marie in English again on Micke’s album! I honestly never thought that we’d hear from Roxette again, but after the 2 new songs last year, there is a glimer of hope.
In the meantime thought, you can enjoy the cool album that is EHM!! :-)

I have to confess Make My Head Go Pop makes me blush, as a Roxette fan I am not proud of that song. They should have included Entering My Heart on the album instead. One Wish is not that bad, but not Roxette’s best moment either.

There are no bad songs on the album, after many many listenings it´s still surprising, full of great ideas. I was really sceptic about new album, but now I can say, that this album is the best present from Per which I got from Have A Nice Day back in 1999. Really masterpiece, better and better with every other day in my player, mobile phone or flash disk during working proccess.
I never feel it with Mazarin, which was so soft and flat for me and also with SOAP which sounded so strange and unnatural for me. Almost miracle that Per can connect those two extremes and create something so great like En handing man. I gave 4 dots to this album this Monday, now after 4 days of listening I´m giving 5.
Gessle rulezzzzz again!
BTW: My DeLuxe edition arrived today morning. :-))

It’s not strange to read appeal for more Roxette here ,it’s strange to gibe with such appeal.
One of the reason an artist to make new album (especially when he or she is already rich ) is knowledge that at least somebody show interest in their new work!!
However i know you ,and i know that you are still Roxette fan even if it’s not so popular nowadays , and really would buy you,your favorite piza if i see you in Sweden!

If it does happen, you all should not expect them to be touring and doing much promotion... enjoy a new album just for fans and dont worry if it flops, at least we will have gotten another roxette album

I think with their last studio album “Room Service” they´ve got to the deadlock. If there ever will be a new ROXETTE album, it has to be the best one ever, or at least on the same level as CBB - the top of ROXETTE art, I guess. It doesn´t mean it should sound the same, but it´s got to have real attitude and musician enthusiasm, that you can feel on CBB. I would appreciate more personal songs, more guitars, more serious sound (they´re older and wiser now). A new ROXETTE album won´t be here tomorrow not even day after tomorrow, but “maybe one day” ... (by the way I don´t like “One Wish”).

look at Erasure.huge success around the same era as Roxette....then Downhill for a bit...took a break and now release what they want when they want without much of a fanfare....

With my now 25 years I’m a Roxette fan for a long time. But I’m not sure that I wish a new Roxette album. I think I’m just another Roxette generation. Roxette is for me C!B!B!, tourism, guitarres, real drums, the look, power aso ... and not this computer based material like on roomservice. I’m much happier with Per’s solo Projects for example his new Album or the 25 years anniversary of Gyllene Tider. That sound is handmade, is real.

Everybody wants so much Roxette music, because Per starts to make different music as he did with Roxette and we liked. In 1997 TWATG was like Roxette without Marie, but Mazarin, Finn 5 fel, SOAP and EHM it’ s a different music. For this reason everybody miss Roxette music so much. Powerfull, strong, heavy.

There’ s a great guitar riff in Hon vill sväva över ängarna, reminds me best solos of Roxette, TWATG and Konstpaus albums. And Per himself commented:

I think that due to the fact that Per has an enormous succes in Sweden, the pile of reasons-not-to-make-roxette-come-back had just gotten bigger.
We know that theres another SOAP, thats very relieving. Maybe the third SOAP will be a joint venture with Marie, hence it will be a new Roxette project, but I don’t really think Marie wants.
By the way, her new album with Micke sucks terribly.
