Nothing happened here. There was not an official release of One Wish to radio, so there was little chance that anything would happen. That added to no promotion, well, it’s no surprise.

If you were to take an eyedropper and fill it with one water droplet and then empty it into the Atlantic Ocean you’d have more of an impact than One Wish had in the USA...and that might be too kind.

Jonas Åkerlund is amazing and creative. With Most of room service ie album/ tour / vid, he captured roxette fashion to the letter if you ask me.

Well, at least i didn’t have to import the album using the internet. I was actually able to buy the album at the local store here in the New York City metro area.
Plus, i heard One Wish many times on the Noridc Rox show. And the promotion of the album on Sirius satellite radio, served to make Per play 7Twenty7 (Demo) on it. I never ever thought i hear a Rox demo being played on the radio. But then again, 7Twenty7 (Demo) is just spectacular! I loved to hear it on the radio.
And One Wish did really well on the gay channel.
However, besides the things i mentioned, i don’t think it did much, at least for us. Maybe for Per, it has worked in a way we don’t know. Especially since he is still looking for a deal to release SOAP here in the US, as he has said many times. He had gotten a deal, with EMI/Capital Blue Note, but as he says they started downsizing and thus, the deal was terminated.
Take care!
