Per on Sirius Satellite Radio

I caught Per on the Sirius Satellite station Spectrum (channel 18) last night hosting a show called Nordic Rox. He introduced songs and talked a bit about them. I only caught 15 minutes or so. They played Fool by Roxette and Party in My Head from the SOAP album as well as a few other Scandinavian artists. It was really nice to hear Per’s voice on the radio as Roxette has all but been extinct from US radio for years aside from the occasional play of IMHBL or LTYH.
Question, is this a weekly show? I am not sure why I hadn’t heard more about it on here. I know Per was in the US promoting the GH release several weeks ago and I thought this included a spot on satellite, but I wasn’t aware this was a weekly show.
Thanks!
Daniel

From what i know Nordic Rox is a weekly show created by Per for Sirius. Not too sure who the regular host/s are, but Per occasionally pops up on it.
I’m sure others can fill in the rest, and there’s bound to be some info on www.sirius.com

One WIsh had it’s worldwide radio premiere on Nordic Rox, and as far as I know Per was the regular presenter? I may be wrong though!!

The show was on again last night and Per was on again. He was talking about his guitar collection and different songs he has written with different guitars. They went into playing One Wish mentioning that it has been on the Logo charts since February. Per said it had been played on other US stations too which I don’t think is correct, but who am I to say. In any case, wish we knew more of the schedule for this show when he would be on.
Once again, nice to hear some Roxette on the radio.

Reply from Per:
“This is the case: NR (slogan: good lookin’ music!) is broadcast twice a week (three soon) and is about 3 hrs long (about 30 songs). Victor Petrovski is the host and myself talk about 6-7 songs per show. Usually about my/our own. I am the “supervisor” of the whole show and the idea is of course to play good music from the Scandinavian countries, preferably in English. Now and then Howlin’ Pelle [The Hives] plays 15 minutes of his fave tracks. Sometimes Carl-Magnus Palm is a guest and tells stories about ABBA. And under the label “Opportunity Nox” we sometimes play not-yet-signed Swedish bands that deserve this.
That’s it.”

It’s a cool show.
And, yes, it’s weekly. Rebrodcast on Wednesdays from 11 PM to 2 AM US EST and the live show is on Sundays from 8 PM to 11 PM US EST.
Take care!

Ricki Lake recently lost 115 pounds...you can check her out over at Yahoo! on The 9. She looks damn good...good enough to hang out with Per in Vegas, I suppose.

wasn’t it just a round up? A while ago Per indeed hosted this programme and The big 80ies. It was around the time when everybody could get a free 2 day pass to listen online to Sirius.
