hello ya all. i’ve been wondering - the last album she released was a remix album, now what I wanna know is the song (something about heart, I dont even recall the title!) was playing on the radio here the other day in SA, but was it ever released as a single? i looked at the sleeve of the album the other day and it was a mix of the song. was there ever an “original” version of the song? i don’t remember seeing it on any of her other albums? was it maybe released on her dvds? where also can i get the song chaotic apart from the dvd? britney fans, contact me please ([email protected]) thanx!

she had more hooky hit songs than Kylie and Madonna.... yes, thanx to Swedes, but so what, who stopped Madonna from working with them? She helped bring Swedish sound to the masses, though it’s sad that it took a slutty American girl to do that, as opposed to a band like Ace of Base.
And in her relatively short career was able to put out a Greatest Hits collection. That’s also impressive.
And at her young age, I can’t imagine it being easy to be in the spotlight. Look at Drew Barrymore 15 years ago, or Lindsey Lohan now, they all have problems. It’s hard to be a celebrity at a young age, and have people scrutinize your every move

And who can forget Christina and her “dirty” thing, though addmittedly she can sing, not that it helps when music is that bad.

About their lifes.. I don’t think they are better or worse, it just happens that their life is reported about everywhere, if the girl next door has a crisis, shaves her hair and goes around drunk, nobody will care or talk about it.
Marie used to drink way too much some years ago as well, and I’m pretty sure that’s only part of what we know ;) Same applies to Per, you don’t believe he’s always that nice polite guy you all have in mind or? :P
The only thing I cannot tolerate is when children are involved.

it‘s easy to criticise famous people‘s actions - but what we hear about is through the media and paparazzi scumbags. these people really go out to destroy a person‘s credibility at all costs - if someone gets hurt in the process, then tough luck as far as their concerned.
i‘m not a huge fan of britney spears and don‘t like her music but the way she was hounded and ridiculed by the press the past few months (when she was clearly having personal problems) is appalling. if you had problems in you private life would you want them splashed all over the papers for everyone to see and poke fun of. look at the way some sections of the press hounded marie when she was sick - the actions of people who have no morals and/or conscience.
the life of a pop star is very hard once they hit the ‘big time‘ - suddenly everybody wants to know everything about them and seem to show little or no regard for the persons privacy - that‘s why the music business has so many stars who have drugs/drink problems.

Mclachlan and Etheridge put me to sleep with their songs....not really what I consider quality, unless boring=quality. Maybe they should start showing some hoohah like Britney did, that way I won’t doze off during their songs...maybe :-O

Etheridge singles never did much for me, not enough passion nor melody.... and her vocals are not very good either, plus that really dry 90’s rock sound just bores me.
“The best in US” would be like to say “the smartest with a down syndrome”...there is so much crap here that maybe relatively Etheridge is ok.
Check out Gianna Nannini from Italy for example, now that’s great rocky pop! I even made a topic
