Hi everyone greetings from a rather hot Southern Africa..I’m new to the forum and would like to know if anyone’s got a clue whether Roxette will have a show in Africa (South Africa to be specific) in the near future.

Welcome! I am always HAPPY to know there are other South Africans who actually DO know that Roxette exists! As far as anyone else knows, Roxette is dead and gone, BUT then I surprise them with all the stuff i’ve been collecting Over the past, and especialy in the more recent couple of months... since the discovery of all their rare (and NOT so rare) stuff on Ebay!
My collection currently consists of 50 CDs!!! Full albums, singles, maxi’s etc etc, and I still don’t have everything!! ...oh, AND I HOPE that there will be more to come in the future!!!
A performance in South Africa... we should be so lucky...

I’m actually not South African,i’m form Botswana.A beauitful country north of South Africa that had the misfortune of not having a coast.
Pity they won’t be coming.When they were in South Africa a few years ago i was terribly busy with exams.How tragic.

Coming back to Rox visiting Southern Africa; if they do decide to tour, it will be all over TDR front page! Just incase you are interested, Per’s planning a new tour & Swedish solo album shortly, Marie’s featuring on Micke’s forthcoming debut solo album (and it IS in English) and then there’s Helena’s solo album which ROCKS!
As for you conrad, what happend to ya? Sent a mail a while ago but never received any feedback.

Beats me! Unfortunately, i don’t think so. Roxette is on a break as far as we know. 2007 is reverved, as of right now, for Per Gessle’s solo career. So, i find it to really not likely that Roxette will perform this year, especially outside Europe.
By the way, welcome to the Daily Roxette. May your stay here be full of exciting feelings and adventure.
