Still connected to "Reveal"

Reveal is my very last gem of Roxette’s music in my life and I can’t switch it off of my heart. Love it more and more .. and it’s creapy it’s almost as if this song profesized that nothing else will happen in the near future ... yet the door to Roxette remains open.

I finally found the single remix version ... the same thing as original but with an additional set to the middle eight. I found the remixes both of them incredibly better ... in fact while listening to the Kleerup version I had this weird vibe of having 4 older rox songs coming up on the same one (MTH, Breathe, Salvation and A Thing About You...) probably because they all share that sad serene aspect of the latest rox ballads that contrast with the powerful dramatic feel of older ballads. Yet still emotional enough to move anyone ...The strings make it magical and touching!
As for the The Attic Remaxe .. sweet sweet ... if the Kleerup takes you to a beautiful sunset at the beach with the wind blowing your hair and touching your face ... the Attic takes you the lightweight and happy feel of a song that for me still has something of sad in the chorus .. how paradoxal can that be!

I also found out that the middle eight on both remixes sounded 1000 better than in the single mix version... epic and sublime (reminding me of Salvation).

Still a song to hear everyday ... despite the passing of time, despite no longer being the same old fan that was insane for their music in early years of my youth ... I can’t disconnect myself from this part of my life ... and their music still plays something significant to me ... it still “reveals” a lot to me.

I prefer the album version, the middle eight part of the single version is to “hard” for the song. This is a soft, suttle and calming song, I kinda feel that the middle eight of the original ties it up nice, whereas the single version kinda throw that feeling out of the window with the “overproducing” in the second part of the middle eight.

The song reminds me of a near-death experience I had in a previous lifetime; BTW I do prefer the album version to the single version ... the single version doesn’t really resolve itself as well as the album version does!

I also prefer the album version. Didnt like the song at first, but now I love it! Marie dont sing with that big voice she had on LTYH, IMHBL etc etc anymore but its suits the song perfectly.

Yes, it’s a beautiful song. The more I hear it, the more I like it. I like it more than “One Wish”.

Would have been very nice on radio in the uptempo attic version but with a litlle more guitars and Per more present in the backings.
