BON JOVI’s NEW ALBUM, LOST HIGHWAY, SET FOR JUNE 19th RELEASE. SOULFUL FIRST SINGLE, "(YOU WANT TO) MAKE A MEMORY," GOES TO RADIO ON MARCH 20th. Follows-up multi-platinum album Have A Nice Day – featuring Grammy and People’s Choice Award-winning #1 single "Who Says You Can't Go Home". (March 19, 2007 – New York, NY) Flush with the success of their record-breaking world tour and multi-platinum album Have A Nice Day Island Records group Bon Jovi has completed a new album, LOST HIGHWAY.Produced by Dann Huff (Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts) and John Shanks (who co-produced Have A Nice Day, and whose credits include Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge, Chris Isaak and others) LOST HIGHWAY will arrive in stores June 19th on Island Records/Mercury Nashville. “(You Want To) Make A Memory,” the first single from the new album, will be blasted out to radio on Tuesday, March 20th. Bon Jovi is scheduled for live performances of “(You Want To) Make A Memory” on the upcoming 6th annual CMT Awards broadcast (April 16th live from Nashville); on Fox’s "American Idol" (May 2nd); and on NBC’s "Today Show" Outdoor Plaza (June 19th). Meanwhile, Bon Jovi-watchers have already discovered the album’s title song, "Lost Highway" in the new box office smash film, Wild Hogs. Another album track, "We Got It Going On," a duet with Big & Rich, is the theme song for the new Arena Football League season on ESPN.

To be honest, I’m not too excited about this yet. I’ve heard Make A Memory and it’s a ballad. It’s okay, nothing special!! Hopefully interest will come soon!!

Crush was excellent but I have to admit that even if the last two albums had great songs, it’s just that not enough of them. I have a good feeling about this though, it seems very country inspired.

HOW? the album was mediocre and if they handnt re-recorded you can’t go home for the country music the single as a mainstream pop song was dying.....sometimes you have to wonder what people consider good music, bon jovie hasn’t had a great original song..that means not co-written by max martin or the matrix...since what 1994? Sorry, but the new single is awful, this is why album sales are dying, not the internet

Coyboy, no accounting for taste. The ORIGINAL version of Who Says..... reached number 5 in the UK. Not the re-recorded country version.

Last anything to go num 1 was ’crush’ album back in 2000, they must have a hardcore live fan base in UK, although if you say each person gets 2 tickets min thats 15,000 in a min still not bad going, still doesnt win me over though lol.

The single didn’t really do “it” for me when I first heard it, but now I love it!! Jon sounds the best he has done for years. The album features some brill old style Bon Jovi tracks, like We Got It Goin’ On and Any Other Day, but there are a few tracks which are slower. First listen I wasn’t keen, but then I put it on in the car and I heard it all in a different light! I love the album!! LOTS!!!! There is only one track which I skip through (One Step Closer) out of 13. Not bad going....
Has anybody else brought this album yet??
As for Richie admitting himself into rehab, I’m not sure how or what has happened here. Just hope he’s up and about for the UK show on June 24th to open the O2 Arena!! I reckon thats gonna be a cracking show!!!

The best song in my opinion is “Summertime”, a powerful guitar classical sommartider :-) song from BJ. “I Love This Town” is also cool.

The new BJ album is mostly boring, 80% I would say, nothing new on it, nothing catchy like with the other ones, HAND (the best of these all), Bounce, Crush or This Left Feels Right. Each of these have at least 4-5 songs which I go crazy for even nowadays. It’s like TWATG.

Hope this time they will come to Spain and can get tickets for it hehe. i was lucky to get one for Bounce tour!! i decided maybe too late to go and see them but i made it!. They are great live! my father liked them as well jaja.

I agree - the album isn’t totally brilliant like say, These Days or New Jersey, however when the tracks are great, they rock in particular the Big & Rich, We Got It Going On, collaboration......catchy as hell, if not a little tacky. But, hey....it will appeal. I also love Summertime & I Love This Town - will all do well. However some of the other trax border on the AOR bilge that you hear in middle America. It will still sell loads....Jon & the boyz rok (specially Tico - he can bang my drum anyday, lol)

My fave song from the album right now. Other songs which I like are “Summertime” and “I Love This Town”. Nothing else to mention though.
