To be honest, I’m not too excited about this yet. I’ve heard Make A Memory and it’s a ballad. It’s okay, nothing special!! Hopefully interest will come soon!!

Dont shoot me, but i thought there last 2 albums where just so so . Give me crush anyday. So ill have a listern but seems same old same old to me. yawn !
tevensso (moderator) said on March 20, 2007 17:16:
Crush was excellent but I have to admit that even if the last two albums had great songs, it’s just that not enough of them. I have a good feeling about this though, it seems very country inspired.

Cheers cheers
PS: Manson’s album drops round about June as well - Heart Shaped Glass is slated to be the first single.

have anice day sold 5 million copies? HOW? the album was mediocre and if they handnt re-recorded you can’t go home for the country music the single as a mainstream pop song was dying.....sometimes you have to wonder what people consider good music, bon jovie hasn’t had a great original song..that means not co-written by max martin or the matrix...since what 1994? Sorry, but the new single is awful, this is why album sales are dying, not the internet
pwbbounce (moderator) said on April 11, 2007 08:20:
Coyboy, no accounting for taste. The ORIGINAL version of Who Says..... reached number 5 in the UK. Not the re-recorded country version.

In my opinion, the last good album by Bon Jovi was Keep The Faith.
From Crush album I only like Save The World and Thank You For Lovin’ Me.

A little suprised i have to say ! lol
Last anything to go num 1 was ’crush’ album back in 2000, they must have a hardcore live fan base in UK, although if you say each person gets 2 tickets min thats 15,000 in a min still not bad going, still doesnt win me over though lol.

Jon was the vocal coach on American Idol this week, showing in UK on ITV2 Friday night, alos features a performance of the new single (You Want To) Make A Memory. Looking forward to seeing this. There appears to be good vibes going round about this new release, and with talk of a bigger world tour for 2008 and another new album (this time a ’proper’ Bon Jovi album, rather than country-fied), the band don’t seem to be going anywhere. YAYAYAYAYAY!

the fact they were even on ai is repulsive
and he tends to tour during dry spells in the touring martket thats why they sell so well
rox-kuryliw said on May 2, 2007 15:14:
American Idol shown in the UK, i have always hated this, i think its rude, bad mannered and just plain idotic record selling tack, now European idol i would go in for, but HELLLOOO were not american !.

Well, the album has now been released in the UK. Number 1 in Woolworths chart!
The single didn’t really do “it” for me when I first heard it, but now I love it!! Jon sounds the best he has done for years. The album features some brill old style Bon Jovi tracks, like We Got It Goin’ On and Any Other Day, but there are a few tracks which are slower. First listen I wasn’t keen, but then I put it on in the car and I heard it all in a different light! I love the album!! LOTS!!!! There is only one track which I skip through (One Step Closer) out of 13. Not bad going....
Has anybody else brought this album yet??
As for Richie admitting himself into rehab, I’m not sure how or what has happened here. Just hope he’s up and about for the UK show on June 24th to open the O2 Arena!! I reckon thats gonna be a cracking show!!!

I have all the 12 songs on my computer. It’s actually boring, nothing new, like Per’s album, but at least you don’t fell asleep like that :-)
The best song in my opinion is “Summertime”, a powerful guitar classical sommartider :-) song from BJ. “I Love This Town” is also cool.
pwbbounce (moderator) said on June 13, 2007 12:48:
Yep, Summertime is up there with my faves! Sounds good, and I reckon will be good live!!

It’s ok, to be a little broken,
Everybody’s broken, in this life,
It’s ok, to feel a little broken,
Everybody’s broken, your alright,
It’s just life,

The new BJ album is mostly boring, 80% I would say, nothing new on it, nothing catchy like with the other ones, HAND (the best of these all), Bounce, Crush or This Left Feels Right. Each of these have at least 4-5 songs which I go crazy for even nowadays. It’s like TWATG.

On Monday was already avaliable on itunes and after listening twice to pieces of it’s songs i just had to buy it! i love it!. Have a nice day was great too, can’t decide which of both albums i like more :-P
Hope this time they will come to Spain and can get tickets for it hehe. i was lucky to get one for Bounce tour!! i decided maybe too late to go and see them but i made it!. They are great live! my father liked them as well jaja.

Hmm, I got it and I’m not thrilled yet. A few nice tracks, but it seems a lot of fillers. :( I’ll give it a few more listens though. I refuse to believe that Bon Jovi would let me down...
realsuga said on June 16, 2007 20:09:
I agree - the album isn’t totally brilliant like say, These Days or New Jersey, however when the tracks are great, they rock in particular the Big & Rich, We Got It Going On, collaboration......catchy as hell, if not a little tacky. But, hey....it will appeal. I also love Summertime & I Love This Town - will all do well. However some of the other trax border on the AOR bilge that you hear in middle America. It will still sell loads....Jon & the boyz rok (specially Tico - he can bang my drum anyday, lol)

What do you think about “We Got It Going On”? Really kind of a Metallica isn’t it?
My fave song from the album right now. Other songs which I like are “Summertime” and “I Love This Town”. Nothing else to mention though.
