Vote to get One Wish on VH1 in the US

Just to let all you fans out there if it means anything, I just came from vh1.com. I have been having trouble trying to play the "One Wish" video on Logo so I went to vh1.com and did a search for "roxette one wish" and the video came up! When I went to play it a page called VSPOT came up with it on a list of other videos on it. I don't know if the list is in order but it is #20 on the list. It say January 2007 at the top of the list and "fresh new music." Hopefully this is good news.

After reading the first post of this thread posted by our friend, i went to VH1.com and started looking around to see if there was anyway to vote for Roxette’s One Wish on VH1.com to see if we could get the video on the channel’s video rotation, and i actually found we can!
We can do that by using VH1.com’s VSpot. VSpot has actually Top20 countdown show that airs every saturday at 9 AM EST on the US VH1 channel. So, if somehow, with many votes, doing something like we did on the LOGO channel, we may actually manage to place Roxette’s One Wish video at least on the Top 20 countdown on VSpot’s show, that would be a cool feat!!
After you go to this address : http://www.vh1.com/shows/series/top_20_countdown/vote.jhtml
you should see, on the left a list of artistis with their respective videos and on the right side you should see VSpot video countdown’s grid. However, since One Wish is not listed on the artist list to the left, we can actually, if you scroll down a little more, see a text field that says “Wildcard”. There, you can type the name of the band, in this case Roxette, and the name of the video, One Wish. After doing that, click on “Add to list”. When you finish doing that, Roxette’s One Wish will show up on the artist list above on the left as the first on the list. Now, you just have to drag and drop One Wish on to the VSpot countdown grid to the right and then press submit!!!!
Whoever wants to, should vote there for One Wish the way i explained above. Who knows we can get One Wish on the VSpot Top 20 video countdown. From there, it might climb higher once it gets into the show’s Top 20.
Since the show airs every saturday, tomorrow (03/17/07) will be too late i guess to place One Wish onnthis week’s show. However, we can try to make it get in for next week’s show by voting all week long whenever those of you who want to keep voting have time to do it.
I voted already! Will vote more times. Let’s give it a try!

Sascha i think any number you want or just one is enough.
Its best to vote for One Wish alone, so that the other votes you place dont compete with your first choice.

Nice research on Vh1! I just voted! As a side note, I have more good news. Yesterday I was at Best Buy looking just to see if they had Roxette “Hits”. I couldn’t find it, so I asked the Best Buy girl in the music section if they had it. She didn’t have to look, she just pointed over my shoulder and said, “there.” There it was, right in front top shelf, I had never thought to look there! I hope these good things keep happening for Roxette. If people here in the US can only here the music, they will want it!

just maybe we all realize that voiting isn’t going to make a difference. I sat up and watched logo 2 weekends in a row at my brothers to catch one wish on new here now chart show and I never saw it, so what exact impact does this have besides wasting our time?

It is wrong on your part, however, to tell me and othes who wished to vote, that we are “wasting our time”. See, i could well say to you that spending time being pessimistic with your “wasting time” argument is a waste of time. If the voting somehow works, great! If it doesn’t yield the desired outcome, well we tried. And that’s what matters in the end.

I’m sure if some one could get a hold of Per and Marie and tell them about this, they would want to vote too. It may take some time to vote Roxette onto a chart like this, I think VH1.com is a big site.

Yesterday I found out that “One Wish” video was all over You tube for the last six months. It appears by the comments that people here really like it. Keep on voting on VH1. It doesn’t hurt to try!

I just came from voting 11 times on vh1. I wanted to see if there was a limit and apparently there isn’t. I think everyone knows what that means, you can vote until your fingers get sore!! Let’s keep Roxette in the running!

That is exactly why I picked music of sweden for music class, so that I could try to talk people into listening to the magic that is Marie and Per. Finally people will hear the gratest musical duo in the world. I hope it works too, because there are a lot of people here who have no idea of what they are missing and hopefully I can change that.
