dont you think it was a mistake this wonderful track was never released as a single? Do you think it could be a radio hit? Its very beautiful.
Anyway shame they didnt put this on The Ballad Hits as an extra track as it´s very hard to find Rarities album by Roxette.
reply.

I agree, it was a terrible mistake to give away such a great song like TSHTSG.
It had heavy rotation during the joyride days in my city and people loved it, it could have been one of their greatest singles so far ...

I think it is a good song, but I think it has two pronounciation errors in it. I am surprised that a song can have errors. However, even with the errors I think it is beautiful

The Sweet Hello, The Sad Goodbye was released as single but only as Promotion in a silver see-trough plastic sleeve without sleeve and in a plastic CD-Maxi case without inlay. Only 225 copies were made but maybe a few copies more, that´s not unpossible.

What would they be? I’ve listened to the song that many times, and i can’t say that i’ve picked up on it.

A couple of days ago I was listening to TSHTSG and actually had the same idea; what if this would have been a single.
But I also had 2 problems with the song:
1. It s just an awfull production which sounds a bit like fishing in a swimingpool
2.Marie sings as if she sang her first english song in her life, she must have been very tired when she recorded the vocals
The song has a bit the same problem as always breaking my heart, they are great songs in theory but almost imposible to record in an apropriate way.

Or the ’Spending My Time’ CD-single...
Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and good with ketchup...
’Even if I am in love with you. All this to say, what’s it to you?’
