Wow... just got my copy of Blender magazine, a music magazine in the US, and it has a VERY positive review. They give the greatest hits 4 stars. I will transcribe it if I cant find a link.

That’s... well, shocking frankly! Blender is a big magazine, and definitely the kind that people far too cool to admit to liking Roxette would read. I really think if these damned reviewers would evaluate the album in context - as a career summary (to date, at least) reflecting the efforts of a pop band to make the music it makes best regardless of whether the reigning trend of the day is synth pop, grunge, new country, smooth R’n’B, techno, boybands and pop tarts, Creed-soundalikes, American idols, and gangsta rap (and Roxette has survived all of these fads), I think Roxette would get the respect they deserve. Good on Blender for recognizing good pop music that doesn’t try to be anything but.
