Please don’t hate me if this has been discussed here before. I was not able to find anything on it.
So, I bought the Rox Box when I was in Hamburg last weekend (am from Ireland) and when I got home I watched the Unplugged Session. The version of Fading Like A Flower has made this song my fav Roxette song!!
What do you guys think of the Unplugged Version? I never thought this song would sound so beautiful when being played so slow and on piano only..

That’s some pretty rotten luck there Paul.
FLAF unplugged is amazing. Almost like a completely different song. Just ashame it was hidden away so long.
Eeek, i found a small scratch on my disc... thankfully it’s on the side with the vids.

Sorry to hear that Paul!!!
Yes, the song sounds very different and so beautiful. It is not a powerballad anymore.. more like what you would imagine It must have been love would sound like when played unplugged.. but then again the IMHBL unplugged version is very different too.. well, it is the Toursim version actually.. but FLAF.. oh my god!! AMAZING!!!
I hate it that the DVD is just in this paper sleeve.. dont like it at all...

Spending My Time, Hotblooded, Heart of Gold & It Must Have Been Love are the ONLY spectacular songs on that dvd!! Rest is just a musical mishap. Roxette didn’t dare to experiment more with their music. They could have gone very very far.

@CoyRoy
Considering the time of when they did unplugged etc. I find it to be quite well done and in my opinion they have done rather well with the unplugged versions..
Another highlight for me is Surender..
I had some friends over for dinner last Saturday night and played the unplugged concert in my DVD player, had the TV switched off though, so you could only hear the music over the speakers of my stereo.. after a short while a friend asked who this band is and when I mentioned it was Roxette, everybody said they sounded very different and that it sounded quite mature etc..

I’ve still not heard this yet!!1 My DVD in the box was scratched and didn’t work, and the box itself wasn’t too great condition, so I sent it back. Haven’t got my replacement yet though. Really wanted to see the Unplugged stuff as I’ve never seen any of it before!!
