besides, I can think of tons of songs that were “inspired” by other groups or songs. As such, they may sound similar, but are not at all copies.
Otherwise, Per would have sued Savage Garden for “I Want You” many years ago. Likewise, ABBA would be suing many bands that have “copied/mimicked” their sound.
