And Roxette`s most popular album ever is...

The German radio station “Hit-Radio FFH” just put up some big advertisings with a collage of several popular album covers (“Use your illusion”, “Thriller”, “Nevermind”, “Jagged little pill”, “fourty licks”, ect.). So far, so good. Buuuuut: What do you think is the most representable Roxette album according to FFH? No! You are wrong! It is “MYTHS”!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Yes, it is true! On most big public places in Hessen (German “Bundesland”) you can now see the one and only, original “Myths”-bootleg cover.
How did they come accross this picture? How did they consider this to be an important album and put it between those classic albums I mentioned?
Are they nuts???
Funny anyway.
Cheers,
Christian

Ohhh no not another topic going through Roxette’s best albums ... aren’t we tired of reapeting ourselves over and over again? The answers will majorly be: Joyride and CBB! So what else is new?

Huh? That’s really a surprise. Well, at least it’s Roxette and not Robbie Williams or who ever.

It would either be Look Sharp! or Joyride worldwide. Many critics called Joyride a “stellar” album but, radio is playing older tunes from Roxette (The Look, Listen To Your Heart, etc..) I never hear Joyride or even Fading Like a Flower on the radio–ever. If I had to choose from any of them it would be Look Sharp! because even today the songs on their still stand out. Though I think the songs on Joyride are more “tolerable” than listening to “Chances”, “Cry”, “I Could Never Give You Up”==filler songs. C!B!B! was so over-looked due to the music scene changing back in early ’90’s that I guess it couldn’t be the “most” popular album–at least here in the United States. Great discussion! “Look Sharp” IS my final answer. But to extend my view (for my love of Roxette) it would go like this...
C!B!B!=my fav of all time (so far. . .)
Joyride=stellar as they say...
Hand=so many hits, so little time ;o(
Look Sharp!
Room Service
Pearls of Passion

...how can you call Chances a “filler”... it’s one of my most outstanding faves ;)
Okay, but besides... I’d agree with Look Sharp! though CBB is my favourite album by far as well.
Tourism was also good. But popuöar.... this word belings to Look Sharp!!
