yep, that church of your heart thing... ;o) I heard from some friends that in Frankfurt Per didn’t now the lyrix. Before the lights turned on again he had a piece of paper and then suddenly the lights turned on again... and he tried to hide the paper in his trousers pockets... ;o)

btw, to come back to the topic: I’m listening to blue umbrella at the moment and it’s really fine, I think. There are so many nice songs sung by Per and in my opinion he’s got a fantastic voice, though it’s not like a “real rocker” or something...

I’m kinda surprised no-one mentioned Keep Me Waiting! His voice in that particural track had a real sense of energy and bouyency that just grabs you and picks you up and dusts you off, no matter what mood you’re in. I also agree that Vunerable is great too!

“Takes you no time to get here” and some of the good old demos make me shivering too! I don’t understand why Per always says that he hates his voice! Stupid guy!! Never heard a soft cosy voice like this before! :)

First songs to strike me were indeed “Voices” and “Cooper” when it comes to Gessle. I also like his performance in HDYD and... ITYNTTGH - I know most of you loathe it.

I’m not a big fan of per’s voice at all, as most people on here will probably know! However, with ITMNTTGH i was probably the most impressed/surprised with his voice. He finally proved he could sing a ballad. His voice is OK on Hey Mr DJ aswell, and Silver blue.

The best Per vocals is definetely Heart-Shaped Sea on Tourism my next pick would be Here Comes The Weekend. A lot of my rox friends forget about those singles. I think even Marie’s best are on that album, Never Is a Long Time, or even Joyride’s “Small Talk”.

There are so many really. But I think he has defo improved a lot over the since Mazarin was released. He experiments more with his singing now.
Varmt Igen is another of my fave’s. And the live version of Jag tror du bär på en stor hemlighet from the Mazarin DVD is cool too.
So I’ve got high hopes for his singing on OW. But not as much as I’m waiting to hear Marie belting out her part of the new Rox single!!YAY!!

I don’t think he’s any special when it comes to singing and the sound of his voice. So many other singers are far better. *hides before someone shoots her*
However, I do like the way he sings and how his voice sounds in Call Of The Wild. Maybe there are just a few more songs where to me, he sounds ok - like Cooper and Keep Me Waiting.
