The tiny little problem with Streambox VCR is that you need an URL for it!
BUT
Telenordia constructed their site in a way that it combines Windows Media Player with Flash, so you cannot see the URL of the stream.
Of course if I knew the URL I would immediately get the file.
Arnie, if you know how to get the URL don’t hesitate, just tell us!
Oh, CoyBoy, please stop saying stupid things. Nobody gets sued for letting others know how to download a webcast - using screen names at a public site!!!

What is the diffrence betwween recording it on the net or from the tv. When you rec from Tv no one will sue you . Yoa can give the recording to your close fraind and still it’s legall.
For me the line is drawn when you start making LOTS of coipes to sell and make money.

I’m not going to say names but someone said that they they had the webcast...and they said how great the quality was...so we thought it was the 260 meg version...then they said later that they have they have the low quality version given to them from a friend...which I don’t really believe them...they just don’t want to take the time to share copies...

I suppose the url is hidden in the Flash-Applet. I know a tool which decodes these applets and lets you maybe see this url, but for this you have to save this applet first ( I didn´t manage to do so ).

the applet should be saved to your tempory internet folder in the windows directory. A easy way to know which one it is , is to open that directory first then click on the window or what ever to run the webcast , then all files added to the tempory internet folder will be at the end of the files in the tempory internet folder and you will easyly find it :-)

I would do it myself but only have 56k modem.
I use streamboxvcr but just not for live broadcast.
I do know you can drag a window by clicking and holding down the mouse button over the window and dragging it to the vcr box window program at the bottom of the screen, it streamboxvcr will then pop up and it will atempt to download it, thats if it can process an applet ?

about other stuffs on roxbytes-i listen and watch them only when i’m on work-there isn’t video or DVD player– and i can only say that is good for Roxette– some of my collegues bought Roxette CD when saw these videos....!!!
and in spite of fact that i have these videos on my PC i bought DVD...
about william_diskay–maybe he has some kind of right under broadcast,but he isn’t the creator,he is only parasite on Rox art....he put Rox on int like us,but he make it for money– we don’t!!
if he wants to make his site more popular lets make it better, at least he can make it multilanguage like pietro did...
marre is right –why TV chanels don’t bring a suit against technical company for given us a POSSIBLYTY to record tv-programs...

When I recorded the ISDN stream and uploaded it to RoxBytes I did it because many many many many many people just couldn’t watch the show either because it was 3 o’clock in the morning or they were offline - or they just have a slow connection. That time I didn’t know what telenordia would re-broadcast the event. When William Diskay told me about it, I removed the link. We agreed. That’s it. He’s happy with it now.
Now, OF COURSE I want to have the high quality version. It’s just like if it was shown on tv and I taped it to VHS. If I manage to download it, I won’t go and sell it as a bootleg. Honesty, I have never ever sold anything from my collection that I have downloaded from somewhere or bought at various places. Not only official records, but neither bootlegs or downloaded webcasts. I’m not making money out of my collection. I just SHARE them with other Roxette fans.
This is the basic idea of RoxBytes. To share commercially unavailble items with fans. But only stuffs of these kind. On RoxBytes people will never find anything that they can buy in stores or order from the internet. I explained it to you several times but you just never seem to understand it. RoxBytes is not a warez site. No official stuffs are there. By enabling people to download the mp3s and videos from there we don’t cause financial loss to anyone - because there is NO OTHER WAY to get those things. When I was told that the Stockholm show would be re-broadcast, I took the link off.
You were telling to people several times that you would have a similar site like RoxBytes, with alllll so many cool downloads. So far you have only a few pics and a couple of dead links. But off you go, I’m happy if you make your own site. But regarding the fact you’ve just said, I don’t really know what the hell you would upload there. CoyBoy singing Milk And Toast And Honey in the bathroom? Oh, come on.
Once again, if you don’t want to share your precious little collection with the others but keep it for yourself - that’s your decision, I don’t really care. May you be happy with it. Just don’t say stupid things. RoxBytes doesn’t harm anyone’s interests. If you don’t wanna have those stuffs, then don’t downlod them. That’s it. Point.

If someone downloads things from Roxbytes and decides to sell it... well, what can I do? So, again, you just contradicted yourself, as almost all the time. You are againts bootleggers but you buy bootlegs from eBay.

Whether it will ever be released on DVD? I really doubt that, but if it will, I will surely buy it... no matter how well a stream be recorded, it won’t be nearly as good as a DVD or even a VHS...
BTW, Coyboy, I checked out your Rox site... I won’t elaborate but please don’t criticize RoxBytes... I think they’ve done a great job :)

No, that one no longer exists, since the DVD is out, so those videos are commercially available to anyone, so uploading them would be illegal and against the basic rules of RoxBytes.
