I’m a little bit confused by something I heard over the weekend.
Justin Timberlakes first solo album sold 1.8 million copies round the world. And everything loves him, goes on about him, generally makes him out to be huge.
Roxette sells 9, LS!, 12 million Joyride, 4.5 Tourism, 4 or CBB and DBU and 2 of HAND and people take the piss outta them?
Where’s the justification in that!?!?!?!?

Anyway, apparently JT’s new album is not doing to great. he he!! After that dreadful first single, who is surprised!!

Actually Justified sold 1,8 million copies in the uK ALONE! In the US it’s sold more than 3,5 million. I am definitely NOT a fan of his but I think we should stick to the facts here. Sexyback reached #1 in both the UK and the US. The album also reached #1 in both countries. Moreover, he’s had 4 singles in the UK top-3 already.

yeahb but is JT an artists, he barely writes any of his own material if any, the only reason he has had any success as a solo artist is the fact he has had huge prodoucers behind hime like timbaland and pharell, without them his solo career would have wient the direction of his other bandmate jc chasez who frankly has a better voice and personality, the thing is these days music is a comoddity pacaked to sell image and products, it’s not like it was 2 decades a go when music was a significant part of peoples life, now its just noise on an ipod to drown out the bustle of the world, things are cyclical tho so in another 20 years alll the tom petty and per gessles of the world will be back on the charts, but for now we get crap like timberlake and sellouts like that i’m like a bird chick ...lol i can’t rember her name cause the crap she has out really pisses me off

Word! I liked that “Powerless” song she did, and some other from her debut - “Shit On The Radio”, I think - but she’s really lost it this time. If I hear that fucking Promiscuous song one more time I’m gonna hunt her down and hit her over the head with a water-melon.
