When You Start Singing One Wish In...

the shower, you know they have another hit on their hands. At first I didn’t care for One Wish until the other evening I got up in the middle of the night and booted up the computer to watch the One Wish video (again.) Per is a GENIUS. I wish I could discover his secret formula for that catchiness! It’s almost absurd the way these songs stick in your head. A healthy drug is the only way to describe it. You want more and more after trying (playing) it the first time. I would have loved to meet him when he was younger starting all of this. Where do you guys and gals catch yourself singing this tune? In the shower, in the car or an aisle in the grocery store?

I catch myself singing it (quietly) on the way to uni whenever marie starts to sing “hey hee-eey hey!”

When I listen to OW I can’t stop singing it! It’s stronger than me, maybe it’s because it the new song, but there’s something special about this one. I’m sure of that. It feels like an old classic.

I love it since the first time!!
I can’t stop to listen it! I’ve got it in my mind as a kind of bubblegum.
The song starts really good with Per singing in a good way,but when Marie starts to sing: Please don’t tell me...The song really grows up,turns in a very diff way, makes the whole song.I love it.Extremely catchy!!The best in years!

Oh, are we past the “let’s trash the new Roxette single!” stage already? Cool! Add me to the list of shower singers/people who just love this song and think it sounds like Roxette at their best. I think “One Wish” will be another top 5 single in Sweden (the only country where it’s getting proper radio exposure) - I wish that would be enough to get radio stations in other countries to sit up and take notice, but unfortunately, that’s just one wish... (-:

This song doesn’t work on me. I don’t sing it, I hardly remember the lyrics, hehe.

Yesterday I heard One Wish 3 or 4 times in the morning. And it remained in my memory for the rest of the day!!! I think the chorus is the most catchy part of the song.

never...really never. And I do hum different tunes most of the time. I guess OW doesn’t work as a hook for everybody. And, however, I doubt that OW is the best example of genial gessle hook.
