The song that meant most for u

Hi there fellow fans!
Just wonder which song from Roxette or Per and Maries solo project that really meant something for u? Maybe creates a special “feeling” from a part of your life if u know what i mean.;)

Sparvoga actually (oh the cliche), first song I heard on a Swedish radio station I used to be able to get on MW as a kid, can’t remember what it was called
Roxette has just been there as a comfort blanket, its good pop, I got into that first.
OK RE-EDIT 2
Roxette-WITR (partly cos I have been running)
MF-Sparvoga
PG...um, not heard any at all, really should start!

The Big L.... I think cause it was the first.... but I also love A Thing About You, that often makes me cry!
gyllene_tjej said on September 11, 2006 20:49:
for me it’s Tänd ett ljus, because the words come like straight from my heart too. From Roxette lyric wise it is I don’t want to get hurt. My all time fave is Church of your heart.
skink05 said on September 11, 2006 20:50:
Eveyday creates a special feeling for me 2, aswell as Tänd ett ljus and Om du bara vill. Call of the wild and From one heart to another are some songs that creates some special vibes to.

rox-kuryliw, you and i must have the same taste.
Although i cant pick one song that means the most...it is generally the sad ballads sung by marie that pull the heartstrings.
Having said that, also Hotblooded, as i loved the song when I got the joyride album, and i’ll never forget the first Rox concert I went to in edinburgh (1991) and that was the first song....i got goosebumps when I heard maries huge voice singing “You know I’m.....” before they came on stage and then coming on and rocking the whole place with her great charisma on stage

varieds. But the last years BEAUTIFUL THINGS, I guess.

Oh I forgot about Beautiful things......Possibly actually my favourite Rox song, though it is hard to pick a favourite
rox-kuryliw said on September 11, 2006 21:00:

A THING ABOUT YOU!!!
I really really love that song!
The melody, the lyrics and especially the way how Per and Marie are singing it! Wow, that song is sooo special for me!
I think the best ballad they ever done !!!

It is sad saying, but without a doubt for me it is:
“Vart tog alla vänner vägen?” /(Where did all the friends go?) of Gyllene Tider
skink05 said on September 11, 2006 21:23:
All the songs on the bonus cd of the ballad creates this special feeling for me. And so do the I love how you love me:) Awsome song:)

Just a masterpiece for lovers and romantics...
Nothing more to say!

Dangerous, besides being my favourite, it also was the song that made me fan of Roxette.

whateveriam: I can’t believe you haven’t heard more than that :)
Most of it is GREAT. Of course, they’re probably better if you understand what he’s singing, but whatever :P

I just haven’t come into much contact with any of his stuff...

Surrender and Voices. I can still feel like during my first years as a fan, with an incredible feeling while listening to them. And butterflies in my stomach. :)
pwbbounce (moderator) said on September 12, 2006 07:51:
Everyday, Beautful Things, Sweet Hello & Sad Goodbye, The Voice, Breathe, and now Reveal.
Strange, because I’m normally more of a Per fan, but these are all Marie songs.
Everyday is simply perfect. Wouldn’t change anything about that song at all!

I think BT is the most Roxette touchy song ever... On the other hand you have TSHTSG and YDUM... tough... Better stick with Reveal at the mo ;)
brentnewtown said on September 12, 2006 11:02:
Voices. It was a song I listened to when I was younger and in a very dark place. I never listen to it now.
Wicf said on September 12, 2006 13:49:
Vulnerable - this was the first Rox song I ever heard. I’m not saying it made me be a fan, but really liked. Today I like it too, but not that much.
WICF - There was a time when I just had to listen to it everyday. I must’ve listened to it hundred times since 2003, when I got my TBH copy... You can imagine how angry I was when I read on TDR that Aftonbladet reviewed it poorly. I wonder what they didn’t like about WICF. It’s a masterpiece which could’ve been Roxette’s biggest success, if good promoted!

“A Thing About You” - something incredibly beautiful in a dark and horrible time.
Secretkeeper81 said on September 13, 2006 00:50:
FIREWORKS
cos the chorus reminded me of a cute boy’s name =)) well I was just about 14 at that time, but that’s what attracted me to Roxette at first! =))
skuhm said on September 13, 2006 16:23:
I guess it’s the ballads which go into my heart...
Anyone
Beautiful Things
Milk & Toast & Honey
I Was So Lucky
Perfect Day
All of them bring me strong (and sad, obviously...) memories. MATAH’s vibe is sort of the opposite, it makes me recall happy feelings, but it really moves me the way it captures “that” feeling...

Per Gessle ( i like it like that)
Marie Fredriksson (Sparvoga)
Roxette (Joyride - Do you get exited?)
Gyllene Tider (Det är blommor som har fångat dig)
