I half agree with Marlene. I know that it’s not her who speaks to the fans on webs and stuff, but I would also like to know her opinion about the Rox-Box, not only Per’s. They are both part of Roxette, aren’t they?

Marie has probably never visited TDR in her life. I’m sure she doesnt give a toss. She probably doesnt even know what is in the Rox box, apart from a couple of her demos that per asked her for.

Marie was never into communicating with fans, before or after her illness. It was always Per who did interviews for the fanclub, “Questions to Per” and now for TDR. I wouldn’t hold my breath for her to do or say anything, and I doubt she gives a rip about the reaction to the box! I did wonder if she knew/was upset about the reaction to The Change though!

Maybe she don’t like internet and fans ,but she has enough people who may inform her and people who can write an answer ...
“waste” is the word that we may use for the way somebody use money earned from albums and box-sets, “for example”,money given from fans ;-)
It is not good to use this word when talking about communication with people

I think it comes down to the fact ..
that a really private but not rich person also has some rights -as the right to ask and the right to save some money ,so he or the member of his familly can be healthy or at least -alive .

One example to disprove this would be when she and Micke donated a copy of ’After the change’ TDR after it became apparent that they wouldnt be able to give the competition winner their prize when the company that was offering the prize went bust.
I think the difference between Per and Marie is that she separates her professional and personal life very distinctly. She can be very kind to fans, and when she has her ’Roxette hat’ on, ie, during promotion and touring, she will go out of her way (usually at least...everyone has their bad days) to make the fans feel wanted and special. However, when she is not working, she doesnt really get involved in this kind of interaction with fans and will keep a distance and get on with her own life. There is nothing wrong with that. Being a wife and mother are more important than her career and her fans, and that is the way it should be. In the documentary it was obvious that she enjoyed making the distinction to that man in the recording studio that ’Bolyos’ is her personal name and ’Fredriksson’ is her stage name.
Per on the other hand, while of course his family will also take priority these days, he always seems to have his next musical project in his head, and he is much more career orientated...which is probably why he does spend more time online seeing what we are all talking about. there is nothing wrong with that either. They are 2 different people and personalities which is part of the reason that makes roxette so special.

In regards to this topic, the question was where is Marie, and it’s a fair answer that she’s not involved.

nobody is discussing if marie is an uncaring people and so...... she is very ! i have met her several times..dried my tears a lot of times! telling me stop crying, or i have to say i´m sorry to her for almost crashing with her car and so on.... and she was there, always......but only when she cared about roxette.... she doesn´t care about roxette anymore... just per cares...(well, care.....) ... per thinks we are stupid, because he edits ANOTHER greatest hits with 2 new song, we are running to virgin megastore or something to buy it just because of the 2 new songs ( i forgot, US is not getting it, i don´t blame them!) ...per, as you can see, THX TO YOU, THIS IS NOT HAPPENING ANYMORE!... i was the first one in running to get my new material, to cry listening to it, to travel around europe following roxette....and this is what i get? uh uh... thx per... but this time i grew up thx to you, and this time, for my first time in my life i´ll get the news song on the internet.....
just wish you luck with the box and the new greatest hits, cuz it looks like not just the fans aren´t getting it, the world is not releasing your greatest hits..... just 6 countries by now....right?¿
Marie, i´m a little disapointed at you, but i´ll always love you, love is blind! and as a blind i cannot see, and i cannot see you don´t care about roxette..in my heart you always will....
for me , i guess is the moment to split... if at the end of the day we are getting nothing!...bands, and singers edit albums and material for the fans....
