There’s lots, but the ones that come to mind right now are:
I Do Believe
Looking for Jane
and those rare songs which are (for now) only available on bootlegs (e.g. Dancing on the Nightwire)

Don’t really like demo either, although I must say that One Is Such A Lonely Number was pretty good.

I like the “Sleeping in my Car” demo - raw, rough, and awesome.
tq83 said on September 7, 2006 03:20:
i dont like demos really....
they are perfect the way they are when marie sings them... an no offence but even tho per wrote the songs... i think when he sings them it ruins the song.... thats why i never been interested in demos unless its a song ive never heard b4...
Room_service said on September 7, 2006 04:24:
I love “Seduce Me”. It’s technically a demo, but sounds like a polished and finished song. It’s great.
I also like Sleeping single, Never is a long time (better than the version on Tourism), Here comes the weekend, Remember, New world, Do you wanna go with me...
Claire said on September 7, 2006 08:14:
One is such.... is the best i dont even regard it as a demo really.
i like the rain too.

:)

i like 7twenty7.. curious cos i don´t like the version of the cd! but the demo is stronger and Per is cool.
Also love Stay, Everytime you leave and I was so lucky;specially this last one cos Per sings it and as is dedicated to his son i find it incredible! Besides in I was so lucky appears one of my favourite sentences sung by Roxette in their history: I SAT UP ALL NIGHT JUST TO WATCH YOUR SMILE WHEN YOU SLEEPING.... i looooooooooooooveeee ittt
animalkingdom said on September 7, 2006 09:54:
I am not such a big fan of Roxette’s demos...Cos Per sings most of them (and one can clearly tell they are meant for Marie to sing).
Anyway, I do LOVE the demo for Run To You (the intro is great!). The Voice demo is also nice, a bit rougher than the final version.
Oh, and almost forgot: Come Back Before You Leave demo is better than the final version. I like the darkness in that one.

SECRETS THAT SHE KEEPS
SEDUCE ME
and I love demos if you only have the guitar and voices, it´s perfect to tell if the song is great (if it is not drowned in arrangements)
chrisjankunas said on September 7, 2006 11:01:
Dangerous (retune the pitch and this one is FAB!)
Breathe
Run To You
Almost Unreal
7Twenty7
Beautiful Things
Remember
New World
I Was So Lucky (Love the acoustic guitar solo)
Sleeping Single
Sleeping In My Car
Some of the myth demos are seriously underrated. The guitar solos in the “Listen To Your Heart”, “Fading Like A Flower” and “Dangerous” demos are fantastic ! “Dressed For Success” demo would be good if they released a nice proper version of it, too !
I LOVE Roxette demos - I prefer when the singer of the normal version sings the demos tho like Marie with “Beautiful Things”, “Sleeping In My Car” and Per with “7Twenty7” etc.

I really like listening to Roxette demos, cuz the way Per sings them is really funny, sometimes I laugh...
The best: Wish I Could Fly, I’m Sorry, Vulnerable, Cry (the album version is horrible, btw)

I love all demos of Per, but Breathe is... so sweet with his voice...mmm
activewatcher said on September 7, 2006 19:54:
I enjoy listening to demos. You feel how the basic idea becomes really good music. You can imagine how it was meant to be and how more and more people bring in their experiences to this song.
I understand though that a demo is only like a sketch. When I used to paint, I didn’t want anyone to see my painting before it was all done. Same with music demos, I guess. :-)
Rox_Nox2003 said on September 7, 2006 20:57:
“Beautiful Things” (incredible almost in the vibe of “you don’t understand me” with that “let it be - beatles” guitar riff in the middle!
“Bad Moon” in fact a lot of the demo was used for the final track production on “The Change” and it means that a great “demo” was done and probably a “demo” that should be called “a complete song”
“Seduce Me” ... I freak out with Marie’s vocals on this one! :)
Demos aren’t that spectacular but it ends up being a bit fun to hear how it all started sometimes we have to laugh with the “raw” feel they have...

I really love the demos of “I was so lucky” (even so much better than the final version on HAND). I really like to know why Per didn‘t sing the song on the “official” version. He wrote the song for his son, so it would be just logically that he sings it. By the way I love the acoustic guitar solo in the middle...
Another demo I really love is “run to you”. For me it‘s a complete own song. I like the way Per sings it... really beautiful.

Stay (At Home, At Work, At Play) or Almost unreal
Edit: What’s she like, CBB and LTYH comes second

I must admit that Per’s demos are far the greatest things about whole Rox music. Every one demo is a real treasure for me. There isn’t even one I dislike.
I’m not saying that just because of the last events. I’ve been always saying that since I first heard Crash Boom Bang, my first Rox demo I’ve ever heard.
These are my absolutely favorites:
1st place: Wish I Could Fly, Jo Anna Says, Crash Boom Bang, I Was So Lucky, I Wanna Be With You, Almost Unreal, 727
2nd: Listen To Your Heart, Spending My Time, Run To You, M&T&H, Secrets That She Keeps, I’m Sorry
3rd: the others
I’d kill off a nation for demos from TWATG!
Ok, you know I wouldn’t. Hmm but if that helped, who knows... :)

Yes, sure. The demo of Breathe was published as a b-side on the Opportunity Nox single.

i was so lucky. most demos are sung by per and i don´t like them. i prefer marie´s final version, but this one is the exception. i love it. i like the original too, but this is the only demo i like as much as the original. a similar example is the rain, it´s different from the original it´s something else, but i like it.
Debora said on September 8, 2006 19:46:
Well, I’m not a demos’ fan, but I have to say that I find specially interesting listen to “Listen To Your Heart”, “The Rain”, “Spending My Time”, etc etc, sung by Per.
I also like “Seduce Me” and “One Is Such...”

I’m really surprised no one said “What’s she like?”!
I’d like to hear a final version with a real oboe...

Something In The System - I know it ended up in SOAP, but it was originally done for Roxette. Really the best demo!!
Kiwein1 said on September 12, 2006 20:25:
727 - could have been the album version IMHO.
Sleeping Single
Dressed for success

the best demos are ones that are better than the final song...definately run to you and crash boom bang...marie was too restrained for the album version of cbb in my opinion
Santi said on September 6, 2006 20:46:
Secrets that she keeps.
Raw guitar chords and voice, a perfect demo :P
