Right, enough with all the negative threads. Good points about the Rox20 releases ONLY please. I know I’m probably not gonna get any replies, but what the hell!! lol
* The return of Roxette after 4 years! YAY!!!
* 2 brand new super duper songs
* Myth is FINALLY no longer a myth
* Get to hear some other new songs that we haven’t got before
* Per & Marie appearing together as Roxette, and performing together on stage. Something which was never expected
* Possibility of a new album/tour to follow next year.
* new video(s?) to watch
* TDR is alive and kicking again
See not eveything is bad and gloomy. Please guys, I know we’re all upset about the tracklistings, but please don’t turn this into a negative thread.

I’m quite excited just seeing pics of them together again. After so long seeing just Per or Marie, finally it’s Roxette once again. That pic with the OW video article is absolutely stunning!!
I can’t wait to hear these new songs, and possibilities of more to come too..... WOOHOO!!! :-D

Yep on par with ally on this one,alot of old memories do start flooding back.It’s been along 4 years since roxette was last together as a band & i hope that they do get plenty of recognition with it being the 20th anniversary,i’ve even had a little bit of a rox day myself yesterday playing every album (don’t new releases make you do funny things) lol but anyway i would like to raise my glass (whoops i meant can of lager) & say a big welcome back to per,marie & the rest of the gang yipeeeeeeee!!!!

That bowling picture made me snort with laughter. Per in a gumby pose, and Marie just cheering her friend on. I guess it was their way of saying, “Hey, we’re almost 50, and we don’t really give a rat’s ass anymore.”
Roxette has never been cool, and they never will be. The photo is just another manifestation of that. They didn’t look cool in the HAND photos, the singing ducks were awful, the muppets in RS were awful, yet underneath all that dorkiness was brilliantly written pop music.
Thank you Per and Marie for 20 years of Roxette, and in my case, for giving the past 17 years of my life an awesome and eclectic soundtrack. I may or may not buy the Rox Box, but I look forward to the new single and the visual fromage that will accompany it. :-)

Well, the nice thing about the Stars video was that it actually had a story to it, not just Per and Marie standing around holding melons or fish whilst lipsyncing. :-)

I just hope there’s a US release so that I can actually play the DVDs. I’m not even sure I could play them on the computer, but I’m keen on the Unplugged set. It’s be nice to buy something from them that’s domestically rel;eased for a change—besides TBH.
But all in all, the fact that the new singles will be included makes me happy. If I don’t wanna buy the anniversary collection, then I can still get them in the box.
Who am I kidding? Of course I’ll buy the anniversary collection. And the single, most probably.

Personally I have started to come around and think about what the point of the RoxBox is - basically a collection of their albums excluding the material they dislike or think isn’t a good representation of them. The RoxBox is just like other boxsets and I am starting to kick myself for ever really thinking it would be a box of completely new stuff - barring of course the “hits” which everyone knew would be present.
Having said that I DO think they could have released a seperate cd for fans like a “rarities 2” with the new stuff on it.
I am looking forward to this batch of releases - my first roxette release ! A single in the UK it seems and maybe more to come - I can’t help but feel excited for the prospects !

I always fighted for Roxette when my friends and other people were laughing bout Roxette and at me for being a fan of them. So it’s my right to be dissappointed bout some things. BUT (!) anyway! Of course I’m looking forward to those releases and to what will maybe come in the near future (new album, another tour...)! I’m absolutely happy bout those things. And with a little luck and us, the fans, Roxette will have a new Top40 hit! I hope that this will happen. BTW does anybody know what the RoxBox will look like? E.g. the format? CDlike, DVDlike or even LPlike? All the best to all of you and yeeeaaaaah! LONG LIVE ROXETTE!!!

As I said before, it´s time to look to the future and future looks promisingly.
New songs, new video(s), new promos, new shows.
Marie is back, and looks happy, full of energy, optimistic, really great. Our old Marie is back.
Per is doing what he can best again. Writing for Rox.
Rox are coming back to the charts and also on the stage.
There´s nothing better than see both of them to be so active for Rox again.
Dreams come true. Let´s wait and see what bring next year. Hope that another dreams will come true.
