The reason why you (we) have most of the songs is, that those songs were stolen, when i remeber right!
But now I am complainig too, there was once such a great Roxette community but it seems that almost nothing’s left. Thats the reason why I didn’ wrote anything for ages.

Forget that you ever had internet, no record fairs or any other way to get stollen songs and pirate records. Then, take a look again at the song list from the front page.
What do you think now? Well, this is a great tracklisting for those who do not pirate records and a surprise to a lot of people who do not have access to the internet or never spend time reading and reading through the different Roxette forums.
Then, what you get is a bunch of unknown demos and songs to enjoy.

Are you having a laugh. About 50 of those songs are album tracks !!!! I have EVERY song on there barr the “new” ones and I have been collecting Rox records for 2 years - I am 18 and unemployed.
If Roxette release any more albums than you can expecet the RoxBox2 in the future - these boxsets are joining the trend of the GH albums as a way to target new audience and rip off the original fans.

Funny that you are both gullable !!! Maybe you want 14 “new” songs - 2 or 3 that have been released officially already ! 2 that are included in the GH album and 6 / 7 /8 / 9 that are realeased unofficially in BAD quality. A ,ajority of this stuff is on ALBUMS - not even singles but ALBUMS !!!!

So, the point is that I can’t understand why you all are disappointed, well, you must see and understand this is not a compilation for “real” “hardcore” fans, this is a compilation for all those people who can’t buy singles to get all the bsides possible (I NEVER heard a compliment about buying 4 different versions of a single to have all the demos possible) this is a compilation for those with no way to get pirated stuff and for those who want to have those stollen songs within a real CD.
Just ask how many singles have any of you. I only have 2 or 3, I prefer to spent my money in a box like this than having to spend it in zillions of different singles. Just count how much money had people spent to get all those songs in their original singles.
I count around 17 songs, so, at 5€ for single (the cheapest) and without having the chance to buy in a normal record shop everywhere....

In 2001 Per and Marie were guests in a swedish tv show. This show showed some backstage scenes from the ROOM SERVICE TOUR. That was great!
You can see some backstage material from the RS tour exist!

There is no such thing as an unreal fan. Just because someone is a casual listener, and doesn’t have every song or little piece of memorabilia (even the dayglo velvet memorial paintings from the gas station), doesn’t make them any less of a fan. Sniping at others is not going to improve the situation, venting your anger constructively, in form of a letter, article or similar may do so.

It’s been 20 years since I started listening Roxette, went to concerts and signing sessions and followed them through this last years when Roxette was forgotten.
A real fan is the same as a normal fan, you can not simply “buy” the word “real”. Sorry.
I know most of people doesn’t agree with me, and that do not make me less “real”. I have more interest in life and I have to be careful with what I buy and how I spend my money. I prefer a concert ticket than a single. Now, I am happy with the RoxBox. It is not perfect, but not crap at all for me.

Me? I was expecting something like this. Will I pick it up? Depends on who I can convince to assist me as this won’t be released in the States any time soon. I am absolutely, totally, globally and thouroghly DISAPPOINTED by the Rox Box. If I open my Winamp now with the Roxette folder in it, I get 95% of the Rox Box, almost 2 months before its release. The cover is cheap, even the Billy EP’s cover is better designed than this one.
I think Roxette will lose a REAL FAN soon and Bon Jovi will get a new one...
