Come on over

Hmmm.... Robbie is ok... But only because he
knows how to .... ?!?! Nope.. He’s just good :) *LOL*
sandyam said on August 24, 2006 08:12:
Sorry, but I am not interested in Robbie Williams at all. Maybe some others here are...
carlosconnelli said on August 24, 2006 08:14:
lets face it, robbie sucks, theres a million better artists out there, rox being one of them
mind you, feel is a good song:)
pwbbounce (moderator) said on August 24, 2006 09:40:
I like Robbie, and I love his new song. At least he’s trying something different, not churning out the same thing over and over and over again. I’m sure it’s gonna be a big hit really.
GT_85 said on August 24, 2006 10:04:
I must quote myself from early july; Now every TDR reader will think Robbie is shit and that Feel is a great song.
miss-misery said on August 24, 2006 13:06:
I think that what DEFAULT GREEN means is that Robbie’s web is full of information, and Rox-related webs are a bit empty of it, taking into account that there’s one week left for the beginning of “One Wish” airplay.
By the way, I don’t like Robbie and I don’t like “Feel”. But I think that “Rock DJ” is a groovy song for drunk nights :)
DEFAULT_GREEN said on August 24, 2006 13:39:
@miss-misery: Spot on with the decryption of my orignial post.
GT_85 said on August 24, 2006 14:03:
And the reason why Rox-fans would like Feel is of course that Per said it’s one of the best songs ever. ;)
eBay said on August 24, 2006 16:09:
Well I feel Robbie is one of the greatest artists of all time.. such an amazing entertainer and I love his music!!! He is the biggest music talent of the last decade, that’s for sure!
pwbbounce (moderator) said on August 24, 2006 16:11:
Great eBay. I can’t see how he can be that bad, and be that successful

>I can’t see how he can be that bad, and be that successful
Er... that’s neither misterious nor uncommon. Remember Britney Spears?
Personally, I think Robbie Williams is very overrated.
whateveriam said on August 24, 2006 17:12:
Overrated? Very - but the way I see it is, he appears to be a charismatic figure- does nothing for me, but there you go...
shannyn77 said on August 24, 2006 22:05:
Well u can like Rox and Robbie cos I am a huge fan of both - can;t wait till the concert in Sydney on Dec 9 - mind you I would swap it in a heartbeat for a Roxette ticket :D
nate said on August 24, 2006 23:36:
I did enjoy “Feel” - but that’s about it. I think he’s talented; however, I personally do not enjoy his music enough to visit any RW fansites.
coyboyusa said on August 24, 2006 23:41:
robbie is only worth mentioning if he’s naked in my living room :)
Room_service said on August 25, 2006 03:10:
RW is in the top right now (like Roxette in 1991). But I bet things won’t be the same in 5 years. I don’t think he will be as successful as today. Every artist has its momentum, but then it fades away. Maybe we’ll find him under desintoxication treatment in some expensive clinic in Switzerland...
clerk said on August 25, 2006 06:06:
I think Robbie is ok, though I don’t like his last album at all (only 2 or 3 songs were ok).
Th new single sounds nice, that one I do like!
Jud (moderator) said on August 25, 2006 06:10:
I think he has a couple of nice songs and he is a good entertainer. I listened to the concert he gave in Vienna on Saturday on the radio (it was broadcast live) and I liked it, I also like that concert they like to show on MTV where he plays in UK in front of so many people.. impressive! And I like his swing songs :)
Baby-C said on August 26, 2006 17:53:
There wil be other artists that are just as good as Roxette.. or even better sometimes. I will like it when they are “hot”. I will even continue to listen to their hits years after they disapeared.
But I will always love Roxette.. news or no news. Hot, or cold as ice. Forever and ever all the way to eternity and beyond.
Other artists will live in my mind.. but Roxette will always have a room in my heart.
Galadriel said on August 28, 2006 11:06:
The swing album is nice and I also like to listen to his ’Greatest Hits’. And well, he’s a good looking and charismatic artist.
And “Damn!” I liked the song “Feel” even before I entered the Roxette world. *rolleyes* (there was a funny commercial “about” that song on german TV)
But I didn’t like it at first listening (that was his gig at WettenDass): he was making big show and very dramatic “movements” already in the beginning of the song, although the song starts very slowly ... and rises later.... But the song grew on me.
GT_85 said on September 6, 2006 17:14:
Robbies new single only sold 7000 copies the first week in England. That sounds very little to me. How bad is that?
whateveriam said on September 6, 2006 17:18:
Reasonable, singles sales are nothing like they were
Rudebox is awful anyway.
Majdy said on September 6, 2006 23:52:
He’s okay I think. I like Angel and Something Stupid (with Nicole Kidman).
RobS said on September 7, 2006 08:39:
He’s got a few good singles out that i can recall. Was almost tempted to pick up one of his older albums the other day, it was only $10 - but i didn’t have any money on me :-(
DEFAULT_GREEN said on August 24, 2006 06:28:
Why don’t ya guys come one over to the Robbie site where you will get some news on his latest cd!
Cause in here it looks like time is standing still for Roxette
