FIREWORKS (JESUS JONES REMIX)

How can they get name Jesus jones?? Actually it remixed by Dr. Renault???

I have no idea!

jesus jones were an ambient/indie-esque band from the early 90s here in the UK. I think that the name is ironic in as much as jesus is obviously a biblical character, but Jones is one of the most common surnames here in the UK. It is remixed by Jesus Jones not Dr Renault (whoever that is).

Not really keen on this at all. Just sounds weird

I like it.

I love this mix :-) Still has the same a feel of the original, but reworked - just like a remix should be IMO.

This remix is OK - I like it much better than the remixes that were made later on of WICF, Stars and TCOTH..

great topic. i have always asked myself the same question. however i think it makes some reference to jesus sones, the band. they had a famous song called “right here, right now”, and since that phrase is repeated a lot in this version, i thought that was why they called this remix that way. anyway, i´m not sure, it´s like another band released a song called the look and called it roxette remix. it doesn´t make much sense...

I love Marie’s “ooooooh-oooooooh bah bah bah bah bah bah bah bah” in this mix. I didn’t even hear it in the original until I went back after hearing this.

also the second “watch the sky-y” at the very end.

I actually wish that they had done more versions of this song.

@ tavo

Or like someone already stated, Fireworks Jesus Jones Remix is remixed by Jesus Jones?

Exactly, it was a remix done by Jesus Jones

I like(d) “Real Real Real”.

i own a jesus jones album, not bad actually!

Remixed by Mike Edwards who was in Jesus Jones

They had a song (the only one that I can remember) called ’International Bright Young Thing’

Blimey....they’re still going by the looks of it.

they definatly had a few big hits here in the uk in the early 90’s, then seemed to be remixing a lot of different things, good to see theyr still around!
