Tallinn Beaches

What is the best beach to go in Tallinn? I’d like to know before I book the hotel! Anyone can help? I know the main two are Stroomi and Pirita but I have never been. Are they wild? Have they got any bars/music? I know I’m not going to the beach in Spain or Greece but I’ll be in Tallinn at the end of July so I’d like to know. Ahitä!

Tallinn looks so pretty.... not sure about the beaches though!

Hej Ally! Have you ever been there?

I’ve not been (yet) but I have plans to go in the future... one of many places I want to see!

I have been there but I didn’t visit any beaches. I visited the harbour though, since went by boat from Stockholm. And the area around the sea looked very dirty and industrial. But I guess most harbours are like that.
Anyway, the city is really nice, the walls and so. Also I ate at some local restaurant (my group were the only tourists in there) and the food was amazing :P

@Santi, I agree that the food is very nice! I took a look at the harbour last year ’cos I got the ferry to Helsinki but I think the beaches are quite distant from it.

Well I finally booked the hotel near Piriita beach (crossed fingers) the good thing is that I’m visiting Vilnius too ’cos there’s no direct flight to Estonia from Rome. So if anybody has the urge of giving any suggestions about Lithuania don’t fight it!

I am booked to go on holiday to Croatia next year, I am really looking forward to that, it looks so beautiful and has not been yet overrun with British tourists!

I’m supposed to be going to a wedding in Croatia in May aswell. Its one of my best friends so i kind of have to go, but its a pain as its during the school term, so i wont get any time off, which means i’ll have to just fly over for the weekend and wont be able to make a holiday out of it. Its supposed to be a beautiful place though

@Ally: No Brits, yeah, but there are as many Germans as you can imagine! :P:D

I can cope with Germans.... don’t mind them, as long as I don’t bump into British kids.... with there British parents! lol

I’d love to visit Croatia too, I’ve been told it’s a lovely place.

It certainly looks nice from the pictures I have seen, nice place for a wedding!
