Summer Time is here (UK)

Well Summer time is here it seems.
I had a bbq round a friends on Friday night in Slough.
Then went to a couch surfing bbq in Ealing on Saturday - chilled out in their very large garden all evening long. They had long tall candle sticks stuck into the ground running on oil till afetr midnight...
Then today(Sunday) spent a few hours in the local park skateboarding and playing football. Then came home fixed up our bikes - and off we headed for an 8 miles bike ride - exhausted now!!!
The bike ride we did was a trial run to work and back so everyday this week we will be cycling to work rather than driving, in order to get fit...
Summer is here !!! yay!!!!!

Shame I have to go to work. Went to Herm on Friday (a tiny island 3 miles from guernsey) and got a little bit tanned which is good!!

when you say freezing - i presume you mean its still above 12 degrees lol!!
we call that spring in the uk....

Well, it’s only 19.2c here at the moment. Not too bad, but it’s cloudy as well. Really don’t know when our proper summer weather will be here :( It’ll soon be winter. Grrrr

Awww Fliss, it must be worse for you though as well right now.... girls at work hate the heat even with AC on and the doors open its so uncomfortable for them!
I think I’ll work at night and sleep during the day....

I’ll be trying to make my way to England in June/July. No doubt when i do it will just be raining... *sigh*
