anybody going to Manchester pride this summer?me and 2 of my mates went to Birmingham pride at the weekend it was awful hardly anywhere was open after 1 a.m and the people were quite rude(most of them werent actually from Birmingham though).
im hoping Manchester this year will be as good as last years and the 2 years before.

My eyes where opened at the 1998 Stockholm Pride... that was so good, especially as I got to see Marie perform! :)

havent even been to london pride something always comes up- it used to always clash with the Next sale where i worked for what feels like a life time.
oh well will have to put up with the girls 5-a side football tournament with all of 4 teams for newcastle ’pride’

and i meant the people who went Birmingham Pride all seemed rude and ill mannered and very badly dressed.The taxi driver later on was ok though he showed us were the car park was and even drove us to the nearest petrol station to the motorway.
most of the actual Brummies were ok though.

i didnt until my mate went to me the other week “im going pride in birmingham” obviously i didnt comment as i coildnt imagine myself going to birmingham EVER i always thought of it as the land of Crossroads and bad accents.
after not being invited me and my other mates turned up anyway..........really wish i had gone to Manchester or even Liverpool that evening.even a night out in Widnes would have been better.......................maybe not.
Ally77 if you get the chance next year you should gaive it a try...........try n go Manc tho in August bank holiday coz it brilliant.
and no it wasnt full of dirty old men trying to get into younger lads we have old mens clubs and Canals for things like that.
