Dressed For Success Single / Normal Version?

What is the difference between the Album and Single version? I have listened but cant really tell.

The length is EXACTLY the same plus or minus about a second.
The Single Version is on The Pop Hits and Don’t Bore US albums but the normal version is ONLY on the Look Sharp Album ... apparently.

The only real difference I can hear in it is in the second verse, where there are delays (or echoes). In the single version, they don’t seem to be there.
For example:
“I love the way (the way) you sway your hips next to mine”
Another one, which is a little harder to spot, is at the beginning when Marie sings “Yeah, yeah, yeah”. Hard to explain it really, but the beginning of it seems slightly different to the album version. Have a listen anyway, and see if you can tell.

so true n-somnia
it’s actually just the same version (edited) of the “Look Sharp! Mix” which had that extended acoustic guitar intro tacked onto it. other than that, nothing else seems to have been done other than some (very) mild tweaking to the final mix.
not sure why the record company even comissioned this particular verson, perhaps they though the album track needed some polishing?
who knows

Single versions tend to be a little shorter than album versions.
I am not sure if that’s the case here as I don’t have my collection aroud at the moment so I can’t check the length of the songs...
