Whats the summer blockbuster people cant wait to see.
MIne without a question is XMen 3 , frankie jansson as phonix is gonna be great. I always thought the xmen series is not just a mindless piece of waste but with a deep meaning to them.
Vixzter said on April 25, 2006 20:52:
XMen 3 and Pirates Of The Caribbean - Dead Mans Chest
didn’t think the new Indiana Jones movie was out til next year? i think they haven’t even started much filming for it yet from what I could gather when I saw an interview with Harrison Ford on tv the other day
LittleSpooky said on April 25, 2006 22:53:
Rox-K: Famke Janssen. Damn.... “Frankie” o_O
X-Men 3, absolutely
X-Files 2 (if Chris Carter ever gets his head out of his ass, everyone’s pretty much waiting on him @_@)
Cars
Over The Hedge
and I’m curious to see how a movie coming out this weekend will fare, because it’s a “fabrication” on events that took place. However, I won’t discuss this on this forum because here is not a place for it.
RobS said on April 26, 2006 08:30:
X-Men 3 should be good. Don’t know what else is coming out.
About Indiana Jones 4, i’m wondering how it’s gonna turn out, given that Harrison Ford is 55+.
Sascha said on April 26, 2006 09:16:
I’m curious about “Poseidon” because there has already been a “Poseidon” film in the 70s/80s which impressed me as a child. Director is Wolgang Petersen, the trailer looks good: http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/poseidon/
rox-kuryliw said on April 26, 2006 09:42:
little spooky TOTALLY agree :-D
Poseidon i remember from a kid , and to a few years ago i thought that was the first titanic film lol. The new one looks a good piece of mindless trash, so im off to see it when it comes out, a none thinker of a film. :-)
coyboyusa said on April 26, 2006 13:22:
i thought the xfiles sequel is in the air because chris carter is suing fox for money and they put everything on hold?
definatley x3..although i duno something tells me if its as predictable as x2 i’ll hate it
and as for flight 93 anything the make about 911 will be a fabrication because noone is alive from any of the planes to tell the truth either way and there was already a tv flight 93 movie which basically tells the same exact story
Vixzter said on April 26, 2006 16:32:
harrison ford is god ;-) appart from his latest film Firewall which is poo ;-)
Majdy said on April 26, 2006 20:48:
I read in the interview that when Harrison Ford and calista Flockhart went to see a movie, Harrison paid ticket for senior price :)
Anyway, the summer movie I want to see is Superman Returns and Cars
But before that I alsready plan to see : United 93, DaVinciCode, The Reaping and The Omen.
LittleSpooky said on April 26, 2006 21:43:
Coy: You read my mind. However, there’s more to it than just that. Where are the pieces from the wreckage? How can a plane (made of steel and titanium and other metal alloys) vapourize, yet DNA be identified from the crash? If you look at pictures of the crash site, that plane would have almost had to be in a complete vertical dive to fit into the crater, yet supposedly the passengers were able to make the attempt to storm the cockpit and fight for control of the plane. The “ease” of that attempt baffles me because the laws of physics tell me that for the plane to be in an almost vertical dive, the passengers wouldn’t have remained upright on their feet.
There are many things wrong with that movie... and about the whole day entirely.
However, I have a VERY high respect for LEO, therefore, before I go further, I want to ask him if I can openly discuss this here, or keep it in e-mails / PMs. I know that it was a day that changed his life forever, and I don’t want to do anything to hurt him emotionally or mentally.

i think is SO funny that mr ford is gonna play indie , with ’THE’ sean connory as his dad , he now looks younger. Whats even stranger they will cast a love interest half his age for the film aswell, please give us something different and correct.
ps My person opinion about the 9/11 ” MOVIE’S ” coming out , im totally against them for a number of reason which i wont go into. i think leave it the same amount of time as we did between the titanic and the film . People should not be entertained by this stuff, shame on u who go , just my opinion. If its a documentery then fair enough sell it as that and put it on the history channel.
Claire said on April 27, 2006 08:07:
oh yea i will see 9/11 movie and definatly the DavinciCode and prob Omen too cos am enjoying these 70s remakes at the min
RobS said on April 27, 2006 08:46:
Harrison Ford is actually 64 now!!!! I still think its gonna be strange though, and with Sean Connery as his father, he almost looks younger than Ford lol.
The DaVinci Code should be good too.
rox-kuryliw said on April 27, 2006 19:52:
claire out of wonder what makes u want to see a ’film’ about 9/11 ?
ally77 said on May 1, 2006 07:57:
The DaVinci Code is the one I am looking forward to the most, and Halloween 6 but that’s possible not till later later on!
Claire said on May 2, 2006 13:45:
erm.... i dunno. just interested. spose its a bit of morbid curiosity but its one of the biggest events that has happend in my life time (you know one of those moments that u will always remember where u were etc). it touched me in a weird way. im not sure what the film is going to be about- heroism?, terrorism?, human suffering? i dont know much about it but i will prob go and see it.
saw brokeback mountain for the first time last weekend, i cried... but i was a bit bored with it in parts

Claire: It’s based on a lie. It’s designed to make Americans feel good about surrendering their freedoms to a government who will “protect us from the big bad terrorists”. It’s supposed to make Americans feel good that their President thinks that the United States Constitution is only a “God-damned piece of paper” and not “worth much of his time or consideration”.
And on that God-damned piece of paper is the Bill of Rights:
Freedom of Speech, Freedom from Religion (government sanctioned religion as opposed to your own personal beliefs), Freedom from illegal searches and seizures and many other freedoms that were set forth about 250 years ago by men who didn’t want to be under a tyrannical rule, who wanted their children to be allowed to grow up and do the things they wanted to do with their own lives.
I’m not afraid of terrorists from abroad. I’ve lived in another country, and acclimated well. I’m afraid of the terrorists within. The ones who want to take away my civil liberties all in the name of “protection”.

Majdy said on May 9, 2006 20:13:
I don’t want to see MI:3. I am not in the mood for Tom. I’m afraid I might fall asleep during the movie.
pwbbounce (moderator) said on May 15, 2006 13:28:
@ Ally - I think you mean Halloween 9. Halloween 6 was out in 1995, H20 is 7, Resurrection is 8. I think the working title is Halloween: Retribution. I used to really like these films, but I’m not sure what else they can do with the series now.
Anyways, back to topic. I’m looking forward to seeing Jaws 5 and Titanic 2 ...... :-)
pwbbounce (moderator) said on May 16, 2006 09:44:
It was a bit of Sarcasm. Obviously there’s no Titanic 2 or Jaws 5, so it means that I’m not really looking forward to any films this year!!! :-))
pwbbounce (moderator) said on May 16, 2006 10:49:
I totally forgot about Cars. So that’s top of my list!
rox-kuryliw said on May 16, 2006 19:18:

rox-kuryliw said on July 6, 2006 09:30:
ow i saw that last night ally :-D, was really funny, although i wasnt warming to the main characters as much as the secondary characters. The human animation was abit iffy also.
Kathrin said on July 7, 2006 20:46:
I want to see ,,Fluch der Karibik 2(Pirates of the Caribbean 2)!”
Kathrin said on July 7, 2006 20:47:
I saw over the Hedge when I was in the USA this year and there was no minute without laughing!
Majdy said on July 10, 2006 20:55:
Just saw Superman Returns, the story was okay and too predictable, Kate Bosworth was too cute to portrait Lois Lane, the special effects was great, and Brandon Routh was handsome :) :)
Majdy said on July 12, 2006 00:02:
I saw also The Lake House (best romance for this year so far), and Cars (Not the best Pixar work, but still enjoy it).
Wanted to watch Pirate yesterday, but the line was too long. If that Happy Potter movie, I COULD be pattient, but since I wasn’t a fan of that one, I guess I could wait.
Vixzter said on July 12, 2006 07:03:
i went to see Pirates on monday night, was great appart from the cinema messing it up, they couldnt get the projection right was blurry and everything, so i wrote an email to complain and i’m getting some free tickets :-)
will go and see Pirates again ;-)

Saw Cars finally!
Gotta say the story is... well, about OK. Too “emotional” for an animation movie about cars in my opinion.
On the other hand, I was stunned by the landscapes. Are those computer generated sceneries? :O I think soon we won’t be able to tell anymore what is real and what is not. The only “unreal thing about the movie was the mouths and eyes of the cars and how they bent. Because even the way the cars looked was very realistic!
Majdy said on July 12, 2006 19:07:
The landscape amazed me as well. I think the animation got better and better. Unfortunately, the stories and characters on previous Pixar movies were funnier and more memorable.
Majdy said on August 7, 2006 22:24:
Finally Saw Pirates. I don’t like it. It’s all about showing off special effects with the poor stories and acting.
rox-kuryliw said on August 7, 2006 22:28:
LOL really ? well thats a suprise.
I was gonna see cars this week, but it looks so boring, so gonna see my super ex girlfriend, which looks great fun.
Claire said on April 25, 2006 13:00:
