dht listen to your heart
what about somebody taking on joyride or run to you or even green day doing sleeping in my car or how about dancing djs doing almost unreal or june afternoon or remixing real sugar and taking it into the U.K charts?

fair comment but i always think its interesting to hear other peoples versions i like the recent remix of joyride not yet officially released it keeps the original quite close but makes it slightly more dancey you should have seen the amount of people dancing to it it made me smile. i got stars played in Gbar in liverpool and it went down a storm.

I’ve never heard this IMHBL cover?? where was that released?
If another one is done, hopefully it’s an up-tempo track. I’m not really a fan of ballads being turned into dance songs.

robs i heard it at gay pride in manchester in august 2004 and i have a copy on an album called Gayfest 2004 which was bought from a store called clonezone and i know it is still available

i like the dance versions esp fading like a flower. gets everyone talking about rox and i get to sing along like a lunatic and dance at same time

ive decided that i would like to see somebody like the sugababes cover something like the big l or spending my time and what about girls aloud doing a version of hotblooded that would be quite fun i think lol
davidc4 said on April 20, 2006 15:48:
at least somebody thinks along my lines its just stuff i want to know other peoples opinions on. the look sound like a good idea i think they should be given a huge challenge though likreperfect day or soul deep
Claire said on April 21, 2006 12:14:
to be covered and be a success as a remix or whatever it has to be a single a big single eg. fading like a flower, the look etc.
u got to find one that aint too cheesy and that might work in modern charts AND one that people will remember. tough......

Nothing!
Covers are usually a rip-off of the original.
Give me the original roxette-tracks, they are good enough, no need for stupid covers.

Oh no thx!!
Please leave the Roxete versions in Peace!hehehe

I guess its not bad at all, I f you want to cover a song its bcause you REALLy Love that song and you can hear that feeling in some covers like DHT in the piano version of LTYH or Journey south & Belle Perez view on IMHBL.
And Don’t forget about the covers that Roxette has done so well.
ThePopHits said on April 22, 2006 07:19:
I really have a feeling both DHT and Dancing DJ‘s love the Rox songs they covered/remixed.

Nothing! Covers are always so horrible, covering is like raping of the song.
harriej said on May 5, 2006 08:21:
Mari: Couldn’t agree more with you!
Exactly what I am thinking.
“And Don’t forget about the covers that Roxette has done so well”
That’s the difference: only Roxette is able to make a cover better then the original.
All (or at least 99.999999% of the) other bands are raping the original.

No, thanks. The songs must stay the way they are. No more shitty covers by unknown artists, please. They only want their 15 minutes of fame in an easy way...
