The starting price has been offered by a couple people. There was even a want list for this on Ebay.

@purple: Now is it?! It has been at least 3-4 times at Tradera (and also on Ebay) the passed 6 months so I don’t get the hype about this CD to be honest.
It is the same as some people think that GT’s Instant Hits on CD is rare. It was sold as a low price CD on Ginza some years ago and it is also on Tradera/Ebay pretty often.
But don’t take it bad! I think it is expensive for a normal Maxi-CD and I would never pay it (and I didn’t for mine). But it is nice for you if you can get those money kabriggs! :) I do, however, wonder where you have actually seen this single being sold for 600-700SEK? Having a price sticker on it is not the same as actually being able to sell it! ;-)
kabriggs said on April 6, 2006 18:10:
That’s fine, I wouldn’t expect you to bid on it. To some degree you can say no CD is worth more than a couple dollars or Euro’s. If you of this mindset than it is your perogative. Based on your other post I would assume you have had some type of bad deal in the past. Otherwise, why the Angst?
sandyam said on April 6, 2006 19:05:
It’s indeed a rare item but nevertheless I would not pay 40 dollars for it. I was the one who posted a want-it-now on Ebay for this item but I will pass on this offer and be patient untill I find for a little less money.
purplemedusa said on April 6, 2006 19:12:
Well considering that we pay NOTHING under $30 for new CD’s here an extra 10 doesn’t make a difference fo me!
per_mson said on April 6, 2006 19:21:
@kabriggs: Why are people always taking it so bad when others think their stuff are expensive?!?! I have NOT had a bad deal. Where on earth did you get that idea from?! In fact I have quite a big collection by now and I have not paid too much for any of my items (in my opinion) and that is something I think is part of the fun in my collection. I could never enjoy a record I know I have paid way too much for. That’s me! So I am of the opinion to wait until a good opportunity arises (cause it will sooner or later and if it doesn’t I won’t die from that either) and buy then.
I didn’t say this record isn’t worth more than a few bucks, but I simply stated that I have seen it quite some time in the passed half year (and numerous times before that as well) and out of that I have drawn the conclusion that it can’t be that rare.
But if people here are going to be pissed as soon as someone is thinking different from them... well, their problem, not mine! :)
kabriggs said on April 6, 2006 19:38:
I got my thought from your other post and not this one. Why critisize someone for trying to get what they think and item is worth. If what you said in my thread stood by itself I never would have though that. If you were in a negotiation process with the individual than I can understand wanting to make the item sound less valuable, but if you are not interested than why bother. Others may have a different opinion and they are not necessarily “Sick”.
Grasi said on April 7, 2006 15:01:
Wow... it did help you with your stuff list, but didn´t receive any response, neither a “thank you”.
Good luck with your ebay sales.
kabriggs said on April 7, 2006 16:28:
Grasi,
I apologize. I thought I had Email you earlier and have now emailed you.

Here’s the link of the ’insane’ auction that ’watercolours’ mentioned:

My goodness, this is unbelievable......

For that kinda money I’d sell my copy without thinking twice about it.
Granted, they only made 640 copies, but 100+ Euros. Ouch.
If I knew that I would’ve bought way more copies of it :) (It’s bought in a record store back in -93)

Curious, This is my first experience with Ebay. My auction for “Mellon Sommar Och Host” ends today in a couple hours, and there are no bids. There are also no bids on any of my other items some of which I know are priced well below their value. Is this normal for Ebay?
roxlad said on April 13, 2006 12:05:
You can’t really tell until the very end... people tend to bid a few minutes before it’s over. The days you keep your item on Ebay are only useful to let more people see it. Also, but that’s my point of view, when it comes to Roxette and related the best place to put your item is on Ebay Germany (you can do so with Turbo Lister and credit card payment for the commissions).
Susi said on April 13, 2006 13:37:
Yep, Ebay Germany is THE place to sell Roxette things! :)
Another reason why people might be a bit cautious to bid is that you don’t have any feedback on Ebay yet!
sandyam said on April 13, 2006 19:14:
Well, the reason that nobody placed a bit is most likely because the item is in such a poor condition.
kabriggs said on April 13, 2006 19:18:
Poor Condition? Where did I say it was in Poor Condition? It is flawless other than a couple scratches on the Jewel Case. The Paper and the CD are 100% perfect condition. Did I grab a bad picture from the net?

Phew! Not exactly cheap! ;)
