I turn the big 30 tomorrow (27th)
Therefore it was my birthday weekend.
On Saturday, I went skateboarding in London with my wife and our latest Couch Surfing dude over from Detroit U.S. Then in the evening went to a Couch Surfing party in Ealing and then onto my old school friends house and we had a girls night in with PS2 and lots of wine and good food.
Sunday (today) we hit the Snow&Rock Sale then we just chilled out.
Tomorrow (Monday) we are going back into London to visit the Science Museum and IMAX Cinema Experience
OH AND ALSO PICKING UP OUR FLIGHT TICKETS FOR OUR 12 MONTH HOLIDAY TO SOUTH AFRICA, AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND !!! so exciting...
So, How did you or will you all be celebrating your 30th ??

And now that you’ve turned 30.. does 30 seem as old to you as it did when you were 20??
I always thought 30 was oldddd but now that i’m getting closer i dont think its old at all! Now the age of 40 seems bad, but hopefully when i’m nearing that age it too wont seem old to me :)

Ive never met one person who has thought im over the age of 23! Ive always looked and acted 10 years younger than I am.
Im more comfortable in my ripped jeans and a hoodie with my skateboard just having fun and then by day I work for one of the worlds largest oil companies looking after their finanacial accounts...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
thats why turning 30 is so big for me. Ive realised im not like my other 30 year old friends - im quitiing my job and taking a year out to see what its like on the other side of the world - if we love it enough then we will move there...
i think turning 30 makes you reevaluate your life..
one thing will never change though...and thats my passion for Roxette..
Happy 30th to me today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*Goes to blast out *The Look” to wake the wife up whose still sleeping in bed cos im missing her already*

First, I want to wish happy birthday to Natasha.
About me, it’s still 3 years before I celebrate my 30th’s B’day. It’s hard to believe that 30 it’s closer to my age than 20.
I don’t know what kind of celebration I wanted to have when I’m turning TV’s, but I have a dream that when I am 30, I finally achieved some of my goals...

30 is the prime of life. Consider this: For a male long-distance runner, the optimum age for fat-to-muscle ratio is 33... meaning that if you run marathons at 30, you’ve still got three more years to train for being the Olympic marathon champion.
How old would you be, if you had no idea what year you were born ?

@Ally - I also turn 30 in July 2007 - feels so weird to say it - your 20s go so fast - I swear it was yesterday that i was 18 - I hope it is slower to 40 :)

or...you think of all the hedonistic things you should do, and then get totally jetlagged and not do anything at all. This is what I ended up doing lol.

@ shannyn77 .... I totally agree with you, I don’t remember my 18th that much but I can remember my 21st....
I can’t wait to hit 30!

OMG - you should see my desk at work today...when i walked in everybody had already put up a packet of balloons - put happy 30th banners up and put presents and cards up...
then just now i had a massive box delivered to my desk - it was from my wife and the 3 work colleagues / friends (we all work together in the same area) - it has a massive helium balloon with 30 on it - a MASSIVE badge which i now have to wear to lunch downstairs and there is now confetti all over my desk - OH AND I DIED MY HAIR PURPLE TODAY TOO
You lot are going to love turning 30!!!!!
