I was obsessed with Snow’s “informer” hahaha. I could rap as fast as he could. New the words by heart.

My husband is a little older than me so he loves the 80s but I grew up most in the ’90s so the music always makes me feel nostalgic - my fave is of course Rox but I also loved Alanis Morisette at the time, U2, East 17, Kylie, Mariah and there were heaps of cool dance-y one hit wonders too. There was a song called Hippychick by SOHO that I used to adore!

Rhythm Is A Dancer was good...
I also loved Alanis & Macy Gray! :)

90’s was not good for music at all... but it was better than today. 80’s are the best and most interesting for me. But I will list a few from 90s, though many arists are originally from 80’s :-)
——
Cultrue Beat - Mr Vain or for slower dance Rendezvous.... the best dance act of the 90’s :-)
Billie Ray Martin - Your Loving Arms
Haddaway - What is Love - classic, still makes me dance :-)
Lili & Susie - Halfway to Heaven
Savage Garden - Truly Madly Deeply
Sandra - Seal it Forever
Real Mccoy - Another Night
Army of Lovers- Obsession
George Michael - Freedom 90
Ace of Bace - Whispers in Blindness
Hubert Kah - Sailing
X-Perience - A neverending dream
New Order - Regret
La Bouche- Sweet Dreams
Depeche Mode- Enjoy the Silence
Andru Donalds - Simple Obsession
Boys II Men - End of the road
Cause & effect - Another Minute
DJ Bobo - Where is your love
Def Leppard - Have you ever needed someone so bad
Guns’n’Roses - Don’t Cry
....there might be a few more

Yes, I agree with Invisible man. I think the best music was in the 80s too, 1st half of 90s was ok. but music in last 10 years is a terrible!!!!

Good question,
For me in the 90’s without a doubt Roxette was the top (and still is right now of course).
some good 90’s music:
- Therapy?
- The Cranberries
- Ace Of Base
- Rage Against The Machine
- Nirvana
- (The World According To) Gessle
- Marie Fredriksson
- Thunder
- Guns N Roses
- Madonna
- No Doubt
- K’s Choice
- R.E.M.
- Depeche Mode (Or was that in the 80’s??)

wat i remember about 90s music is the envasion of boy/girl band.and alot of pipol associate 90s with bands like spicegirls, backstreetboys, insync, code red and etc..as we all know boy/girl bands capitalized on their looks and their styles and not so much with the “voice”..for some its music for others its just a fad.but watever it is, it did influence us 1 way or the other..

What is your favorite non-Rox song from the 90s? Mine is “Rhythm Is A Dancer” by SNAP!. Works great on the dancefloor anytime.
Cheers.
