I might have had some issues myself with the FC over the years, with orders and stuff, but I’d still like to thank all those people who worked behind the scenes to provide us with everything they did for the duration it was around... you did well and I am sure you’ll have happy memories of your time working togeather....
In the meantime I wonder who, what & when will launch another ORFC, I guess here is the place to put your request so perhaps Mr G can take a peep at them!

@ LS I guess they owe a lot of people money.... and unless they have declared themselves bankkrupt then there is no reason why people can’t get that money back....but moaning here won’t help....
Personally if I am owed anything then can throw it to charity....
As for those waiting 6 months, I can understand how they feel as I got ripped off through the UK Offical Roxette fanclub many moons ago, but I wrote it off as experience...
Anyway this topic was not to meant to be a “Continue to have a go at the FC” it was more of an opportunity to just thank those for there hard work they put in and also so people could perhaps drop hints about what they want from a new future fanclub...

Well if life got too busy for them (which it does happen), why didn’t they get someone else to assist / take the reigns? That’s kind of a “Duh!” situation. And of course, hind sight IS 20 / 20.
So, now you think you’ve got some action. And the waiting game begins again. And you wait, and you wait, and you wait, and wait and wait. And still NOTHING. Now, by my count, you’ve got about 6 weeks between the first news article (January 30) and the current update (March 3). And people STILL haven’t received the product they paid for / were promised.
“You can assure people that everyone will get what they deserve.” O_O Oh really.
Do they deserve to be treated in this fashion? I don’t know about anyone else, but we had a saying at UTA when I was driving for them:
“Bend over and take it up the @$$.” This is what the apparent theme is to me. Technically, I was still owed one MAYBE two of the little fan magazines because I never got them (see the comment to Judith elsewhere about not seeing them for well over the 4 weeks she was referring to). But I wrote it off because I never got them on time, couldn’t particpate in the little “contests”, or I read the news on the mailing list / TDR BEFORE the little mags got to me.
Now, Ally, if the OFIRC was a company in the US, registered with the Better Business Bureau, you can bet there would be a SERIOUS investigation launched into this issue. As it isn’t, and they ain’t, the best that can be done is the cage rattling done here. If that bothers you, don’t read the front page news, don’t read the posts concerning it, then your blood pressure won’t jump points because you think we’re being “unfair” to them.
Some folks just want their money back “they owe me €20 that I probably never will see again, and I know for a fact that they owe many other fans a lot more. ...” (which a lot have written off), others just want what’s been promised to them by purchasing it from the OFIRC.
