Hey guys,

I went to see the X Factor tour in London last night.
My FAVOURITE group Journey South were playing and we met them after the show. They have a new album out on March 20th and they are covering “It Must Have Been Love”.
They say on the website that the have changed the arrangement slightly and made it an acoustic cover!! Cant wait!!!!!!!!!! So excited for The whole album and now there is gonna be a Rox SONG TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yet another IMHBL cover!?! I wonder how many of those there will be?! ;-)

Boring....

I quite liked Journey South when they were on X-factor

I still miss Tabby from last year...wonder why he didn’t release an album....

That’s really good...

I really liked them on the X-Factor.... I thought they where the best on there...

OMG - i forgot about Tabby - he was different and very cool too - im gonna have a look on the net and see if i can find out if hes doing anything...do you remember the mad eccentric woman - i cant remember her name though - i saw her album in HMV not so long ago...I thought she would be excellent for a James Bond song!

I think the best did win this year, SHANE ROCKS! :-) (Let the flaming begin!) ha ha.. But the two brothers were my second fav’s! Remember their performances of ’Let it be’? Simply amazing! Can’t wait to hear their version of ’It must have been love’!

Andy should have won that or Brenda

I loved Brenda as well! She is going to perform live in a club here in Dublin on March 25! Can’t wait!

i was amazed brenda didnt win, she had the best voice by far. journey south are beautiful though hehe.

By the way, I bought the album and must say, I really like their version of It must have been love!!

I agree eBay. Their version of IMHBL is really good!

Journey South are a terrible duo. Absolutely dire in my opinion.

JS rock!
The album arrived last night - but we had a couch surfer staying with us from the States so didnt get to listen to it - and then i went and friggin left it at home this morning so cant listen to it now ..
anyway just went to HMV in Staines and bought the MYLO album, Micheal Jackson re-released Bad single, Hi Tack single (with michael jackson say say say song on it) and the new Lacuna Coil single too...happy bunny now

@thomas
i just tried to look at your gaydar website - but my work laptop blocks the site !!!
r u going to the london fan meet?

Hey thomas, like Natasha said are you coming to UK meet next weekend? Would be great to meet as many people as possible!!

PS just added you to MSN

The album has gone into UK charts at number 1!!

I got it at the weekend too from ASDA... it’s a good album, I wanted them to win the show.... also got Andy’s album for mum for Mothers Day as she wanted him to win...

I think it’s a good cover of IMHBL... maybe one for the charts!

i agree - as far as covers go - i think this is a great one - they have done it in their own style and it still comes across as great.

THEY HAVE JUST RELEASED TOUR DATES - PLAYING LONDON IN OCTOBER !!!
*goes to get credit card out*

Given that Journey South have the potential to have number 1 hit records in the UK, I think that it would be great publicity for ROX20 if they released their version of It Must Have Been Love! Best wishes from Rich ;-)

i actualy like their version of IMHBL, very well done.

It’s not bad.

not heard it so cant really comment but after seeing them perform on x factor i expect it to be a decent version.

check mail David

just heard this version its ok vocal is weak and instrumentation could have been better but its not awful 3/5

never heard of this group or X factor before but it´s always nice and important Rox gets some recognation.
What is X Factor?

One of the worst IMHBL cover ever I heard. Can’t see any difference to any cover from fame facrtory or something.

@pophits

x factor is like the U.S show Pop Idol - lots of unknowns battle it out over many months to win a £1 million pound recording contract - i think Journey South came 3rd.

But what makes The X Factor more interesting is that the contestants are actually put into three different groups which are each supported and managed by one of the judges (Louie Walsh, Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne). Especially when it comes down to the top 10 contestants, the judges have to help and work with their contestants on their performances etc. They judges are in a battle against each other as well as the contestants are. They have to prove themselves as being a good manager etc. and this is what makes this show much more interesting than American Idol. But that is just my opinion. ;-)
