Music Downloads

Music downloads seem to be the most easiest way to obtain vast amounts of different sounds for your collection….
Can anyone recommend a GOOD SITE… itunes is okay but was really looking for something that does not require me to install software….
I found WalMart, which was great, cheap, but then I discover it’s for people in the US only! Grrrrrrrrrrr and it had the tracks I wanted!
I am really after getting a MP3 / WMA version of the HIM version of “Don’t Feel the Reaper”…. If anyone can point me in the right direction of somewhere I can buy if from….. I will be eternally grateful!

@ Xarrrr, yeah the orignal has always been on my fave song list for a long time as it’s part of the soundtrack for the film “The Stand” (book by Stephen King)....
I just got into HIM bought the album at the weekend, and just love it right now, I heard they had done Don’t Feel The Reaper, and I had to find it!
Checked my mail.... I don’t see anything! If you have it that would be great, although I have found it now on the site Strest mentioned! :) Thanx anyway I really do appreciate it!
@ Strest... thanx for that site, it’s excellent.... why didn’t I see that via Yahoo... it’s really great and cheap, I just found all the songs I wanted on there! :) less than 20 cents... Cheers for that!

Sascha: That’s not entirely true. They just don’t get that much money.

Can anyone give me an idea how I can make an MP3 from a WMA...
I have tons of WMA stored on my PC, but I need to transfer them to a MP3 format...
Any ideas!

Only good way is to play them in one program and record them in another. OR burn them on a CD and re-rip them. WMA is an abomination

It’s great if you’re just looking for a couple of songs.
However, you should know that it’s semi-legal. I.e. it’s perfectly legal in Russia, but it might not be in other countries.
(They only have to pay cash like if it was being aired on the radio, or smthg like that, so the artists don’t get that much money when you buy from them.)
