Savage Garden

Is it normal to release Greatest Hits after TWO albums?! :D
Do you miss them back?

Well, I hardly think it was Savage Garden who wanted to releases the greatest hits album (since they’ve split up). It’s probably got something to do with the record company wanting to make some last (big?) cash on their name.

I’ve got the album. It should be called “All the songs we released and some new ones from Darren Hayes” It’s okay, nothing special

I like the GH, only because i don’t have either of the albums. If they were still around i don’t think they would have released a GH after just two albums. Although there are a few songs that i have never heard of that are supposedly singles :-S

I always bought all the albums by SG and Darren Hayes. So I also bought the GH album by them. Also because there are some very new songs by Darren on it and some b-side tracks.
It’s okay for me. I would like to get a new Darren album soon. He is touring, but unfortunatelly not in Germany ..... OR ???

its dareen hayes cashing in and he’s also filling out savage gardens album contract with song..it sucks he put the bland version of so beautiful on the hits album the single verson is so much better, I hope darrens new album sounds a bit more sg

Is it really different( So Beautiful) or perhaps if you have the American CD? I have an import and the track is great, but I visited SG.com and heard some weird version in the background there, so I guess that’s what you’re reffering to.
I would also like to hear a Savage Garden alike Darren in his new CD!
He’s a great singer/songwriter.

its a stripped down version on the us hits package its sparse and sounds more like a demo

I see, so I guess I got lucky having purchased an import at Tower Records... I can’t stop listening to So Beautiful and California and I can’t wait for Darren’s new CD. I hope he’s at his best again!

I only have their first album and I like it, but I think that a greatest hits it’s too much.
