The Start Of 2006

This was in an e-mail I sent out to my friends. Anyone else doing anything to drastically change their lives? This is “drastic” for me considering all that I went through in 2005.
On with the show:
Greythings and Salivations to all!
Well, that hasn’t changed, that’s for sure *lol* One of the worst years of my life has come to a close. It didn’t go out with a bang, and I’m glad for that. For those that missed:
December 27th found the passing of my step-dad’s father. His funeral was on the 30th and it was a fantastic service. The Disabled American Veterans really did a good job. Rollo received military honours. “Taps” was played, and his wife Ida was presented with our Nation’s Flag, in honour of Rollo’s service during WWII as an M.P. (the smallest one in his unit). My New Year’s Eve found me out to dinner with my step-dad and watching “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe”. If you haven’t seen this yet, GO. It’s a good movie, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Of course, good company helped that along.
Also, the last few days of the year have given me some time to think and come to some conclusions about things. I’ve already started the ball rolling on this, and I hope I can keep it going. I know some of you are going to be jumping up and down with joy. DeeAnn, Crys... yall sit down now. You’re at work, qwiddit! ;o) And yes... I’m sure this will find it’s way back to Kevin and everyone else on the 61 as well...
I’m going back to school. *covers ears, hearing the whoops of joy* Now that I’m deef. ;o) Yes, that’s right, I’m going back to school. I’m going to take a crack at The Utah College of Massage Therapy. I have an appointment at 4pm on Tuesday to check out the campus. And to ask all kinds of questions and so on down the line. It’s something that I’ve had a little more than a passing interest in, so I thought I’d see about getting a degree in it. So that’s the start for 2006. Classes start on the 3rd, however, I didn’t think I was quite ready for that, so I’m opting about starting a little later than RIGHT NOW. *grins*
Beyond that... here’s to hoping 2006 is better for all of us.

Best of luck to you Tara...
I am really enjoying studying again, I started my OU course in October and I am loving it, best thing I did even if people keep putting things in my way.... like my stupid employer not changing my day off... I put a request in 16 weeks ago, it’s so annoying!
I am missing out on some good study sessions because of there arsing around!
I have a mock exam in February and the real one in June. I am already looking at courses for the following term!
