TinyBubbles said on November 26, 2005 13:36:
Technically an atheist doesn’t believe in anything. I’d say u are more spiritual coy?

lonely_girl said on November 26, 2005 18:48:
still catholic, but not for a long time anymore (not since I heard the latest statement from Benedict XVI)

Before one declares themselves “Athiest” because they don’t believe in “Heaven” or “Hell” or the like, perhaps you should read this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athiest
There’s more to it than just that.
I bet most of you would be considered Agnostic. Read here for more information:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agnostic
I just think it’s funny that people say: “I’m an Athiest because I don’t believe in X, Y, Z.” But when they go through the whole list of what they do / don’t believe in, they discover that they are perhaps Agnostic, rather than Athiest.
Kindly do your research before you declare something like that. I believe Santi is Athiest. Coy, you would be Agnostic. The rest of you... well, figure it out before you fly your banners in one camp or another.

I like to think im open minded in every religion and i wont say im one or the other. I take from all. I would base my main religion as christian , but seeing that there not found of the ’gay’ people i make my own up lol i still set up my little nativity on my fireplace at chirstmas . I add more animals each year, so i have a camel bigger than a hippo and a dog that dwarfs them all lol i added a few wise women which lead to some controversy within the house last year lol

truth be known i’m also terrified of smurfs. They creep me out.
roxtexanet said on December 1, 2005 03:31:
Atheist. No spirituality, no external locus of control... just faith in the power of humanity to create, help, love, hurt, and destroy.
Geez, that’s kind of depressing... I’m really a happy person, I swear (especially with all of these hints of a Rox reunion)!
Santi said on December 1, 2005 11:48:
Well, I see that I forgot to say I don’t believe in gnomes or Santa either. :P
So yes, I’m an atheist and I know what atheism is.
By the way, just to point out, Judith’s beliefs classify as far as I know as “Naturalistic Pantheism”.
More on it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naturalistic_Pantheism .

i wouldnt put a definition or label on my beliefs. I am not christian, but i wouldnt say i was atheist either. But then i dont like the agnostic label either. I dont know why we are are always expected to label and account for aspects of our personality anyway. Spirituality is a very personal thing as far as i am concerned
blackpearl said on December 7, 2005 11:50:
I don’t want to belong to any religion since i don’t really follow most of their teachings. though I believe in god, and was a born christian so i think my culture has great influence on the things I value.
Kathrin said on December 11, 2005 21:06:
I’m catholic , I believe in God and Jesus but do not go to church very often and I do not like the last statement of the new pope!
denny said on December 12, 2005 03:20:
No religions for me. I believe in aliens and loads of other supernatural beings (see The X Files, it’s perfect, or read Erich Fon Danniken). I also believe Jesus was an alien. Or just a very smart man. :)
But I don’t believe in Santa. :( Nor Eastern bunny.

My religion is to live my life just as i feel like it that day. And if i feel like belive in god some day I´ll do so, but I would never give my life to pray ore anything like that. I don´t belive in any god right now, and I don´t think I ever will!
