A beautiful song, with great singing from both Per and Helena. Not at all country in my ears. Only country on soap I can hear, is the “Kurt” song.

Why do you hate to admit it ?? Helenas voice is fantastic. That doesent make Maries voice any less fantastic. Im not really a big SOAP -fan yet...getting there..but Mr DJ seems to be the best song on this album for me :)

I know that Helena’s voice is beautiful, and that’s a fact. I just say that I would prefer Marie singing in her place, cos I want Per and Marie back in business... that’s all... :-)

Kiwein: u are not the only one. I think her voice is way too high, flat, weak, lacks all kind of feeling, it’s like she would sing the same way whatever style or whatever kind of song she’d be singing.. a pity, because that’s the reason I won’t listen to some of the songs, no offence, I don’t know her as a person, I simply cannot stand her voice. Almost as bad as Mariah ;)

That’s what I didn’t recognize....she doesn’t transport any feelings, that’s it. Yeah, that’s why I don’t like her voice at all (AND because it sounds too weak)

I like her voice on “I never quite got over the fact..:” though. But that’s the only song..

I have to say after listening to this a few times over the weekend, I love it, I think Helena’s voice is perfect on in and very sexy.... I can’t get enough of it. Her and Per’s voice just sound perfect on this kind of track!

I think Helena has a great voice. She can’t compare with Marie though (I think that’s the reason some of you don’t like Helena’s voice: you compare her with Marie’s). Hey Mr. Dj is just one of the best songs of the album. I adore it!

sure I compare it with the other _great_ voiceS I love (which sure, include Marie), in order for me to tell if I like a voice or not, I must have voices in the “i like list”.. else.. how else could I compare/ decide what I like or not? :)

Nothing too be changed. Helena’s voice is great.

The string section is a total rip off of “I Saved The World Today” and the overall tone sounds like a 70’s TV show, but I can’t put my finger on it....but so what?!? It’s am amazing song!

Truly fantastic. Certainly not a hit single, no radio station will play it, but that’s ok. It’s a gem! True Gem!

Yep, purplemedusa, that song has really a “Carpenters” touch. It is a good song (but not great), though I can´t stand Helena´s voice. Too childish, too weak...
it would surely have turned another song with another singer instead of her (and I´m not even comparing Helena to Marie, as well. Of course Marie is the greatest singer, but there are many other great female singers along with Marie. Helena isn´t on the list, though :P).

@purplemedusa & ally77: yes! yes! I was trying to figure it out myself... Hey Mr DJ remembered me of something, but I couldn’t find exactly what. Now that you say that... yes! I also hear a Carpenters touch in that song.
And it’s one of my favorites!

@ puple - I sent Per a question on the SOAP website - asking since when has he been influenced by the Carpenters. I think there are a couple of songs on the album that are Carpenters-esque. Which I don’t mind - they are great.
