If Anyone Cares

I probably won’t be here for a little while. I don’t know what’s what, but I do know that I’ve got until this weekend to either get $600, or get out.
Well... out seems to be it. So... I’m starting to pack now and I’ll see everyone around later.

Theoretically, I’m moving back home for now... the big issue is:
I’m Celtic Pagan, where I’m moving to... everyone’s a “devout” Christian. This should be fun (and only 1 person there knows of my faith, and she’s moving to Washington State soon). And no.. I haven’t come outta the broom closet yet to my mom... there’s a reason for that.

I’m living with my parents in Spain now cuz I run out of money also... I understand it’s a horrible feeling :(
On the other hand, I’d be a bit afraid if I was about to move with “devout” Christians, I’m an atheist. Though here in Spain, most people around are rather convinced Catholics. I fake well, but they’ll never see me in a church, no way! :O

This is a Mission / Church situation I’m moving into. It’s run out of the home. But.. at least I won’t have anyone bitching bout me burning my incense. I just have to keep everything else to myself (for safety reasons).

We’re working on it.
Man... I gotta find a new way to title these things *scratches head*
How about:
“Spook on the move!”
(I just got an email that made me laugh so I’m in a little bit better frame of mind.)

Take care, Spooks. Good things will come when you least expect them. Then again, I may be full of shit. But you gotta do what you gotta do. And let me know if you need me to sing The Girl From Ipanema while you’re gone. I got your back.

Thanks MM.
I’ll probably be around for another couple of days. After the 20th... I don’t know.

Tibs: I’m still in the “broom closet”.
My mom thinks I’m Baptist, and I’m not about to disabuse her of that notion at the moment...

A neighbor of mine went paint-balling today, with some folks from the place where he works. I asked him, my goodness, how could you engage in such a VIOLENT “sport”? He explained that it’s not really violent at all, nor is it dangerous. Everyone wears masks that protect their heads and faces from paintball impact and, even though the paintballs are hard, they do not really hurt when they hit you. He said that more people get injured playing golf, than they do playing paintball. Most paintball injuries, he said, resulted from falling down while you’re trying to shoot someone. He said you don’t really feel the paintballs hit you, if any paintballs do hit you – you are so jacked up on adrenelin, the excitement of the “combat,” than you never really feel anything, if you get hit.
And then he said, “I hit one guy right in the face-plate today. I splattered a paintball right on his visor. It was like I had blown his BRAINS out, spewing pink blood and gray brain matter all over his helmet. It was just GREAT. It was like the Kennedy assassination. It was ORGASMIC.”
Paintball, blowing a guy’s brains out, yeah, orgasmic. Maybe we should make paintball an Olympic event? It seems pretty exciting, doesn’t it?
